I really can’t speak against her or for her cause I’m not walking in her shoes. Obviously shes under alot of pressure to meet not only hollywoods standards of beauty weight-wise but the modeling agencys too. I think its sad that she can’t look within herself and find her own self worth regardless of what anyone says…but thats the price that comes with fame and money. You aren’t just living your life for yourself anymore people hold you to higher standards. I just hope her health doesn’t suffer because of this.

although i think Ciara has an AMAZING body, she’s not thin enough to model couture clothing. if she thinks continuing with the agency isn’t worth losing the weight, then she shouldn’t do it…especially if it would jeopardize her health. celebrities need to stop doing any and everything people want them to do just for a fuccin check. but if she’s passionate about modeling and/or the agency, and can lose weight in a healthy manner, then let the girl do what she wants!

and no, these aren’t “Hollywood’s standards”…they’re the standards for modeling high fashion clothing. anyone who’s been to a fashion show or watches ANTM would know that. Hollywood actually does accept and glorify curvy, voluptuous women now (look at Queen Latifah, Kim Kardashian, Beyonce, Jennifer Lopez, etc.). so quit hating every time a slim girl gets some media attention…the thicker girls get theirs too.

i think that ciara is just fine the way she is with her looks and style. im the biggest fan of ciara ever since she came out so all i know is that i hope she dnt go very thin cause thats not a good sign like that and i think she is very beautiful. i love her alot. hope that she could do better than just trying to model cause that would bring her more pressure to really try to keep the weight that the agency wanted her to loose and that is not a good thing to do either.

See, this is the kinda stuff that a woman has to go thru juss to be accepted as beautiful or model marketful in this society. That pic above has her looking way too thin for her frame and she already looks super tiny in it. They always trying to change somebody from themselves to be what THEY want them to be. As if they can take away the fact that she is a black woman with curves and they can’t take away the fact that most black women from the south are usually thick in the hips, thighs and ass.
