Chris Brown was formally sentenced yesterday for assaulting his then girlfriend, Rihanna, and according to explosive just released court papers, this wasn’t the first time the couple was engaged in a physical altercation.
The documents revealed shocking details about the night that Chris severely beat Rihanna. The beating in the car stemmed from something that happened at the pre-Grammy party the couple had attended at the Beverly Hilton Hotel, according to the report.
The docs reveal, “as he drove, he continued to punch the victim in the face with his right hand while steering the vehicle with his left hand. The victim said the assault caused her mouth to fill with blood and blood to splatter over her clothing and the inside of the car.”
Two prior incidents of violence involving Chris and Rihanna were also uncovered during the course of the investigation, both incidents occurred out of the country.
According to tmz.com, the first incident took place approximately three months before the February beating, “The first incident occurred in Europe about three months before the present offense. The victim and defendant were involved in a verbal dispute and the victim slapped the defendant. He responded by shoving her into a wall.”
Chris Brown gets 5 years probation
The second incident occurred in Barbados. “The defendant and victim were visiting Barbados and were driving a Range Rover loaned to them by a local dealership. They had an argument inside the car. The defendant exited and broke the front driver and passenger side windows of the car. No one was injured during the incident. The vehicle was repaired and the incident was not reported.”
Chris Brown was sentenced to five years probation, one year domestic violence counseling, and 180 days of labor oriented service.
