Beyonce: “Not Time For Kids Yet”

Beyonce Knowles isn’t ready to be a mom. Even though hubby Jay-Z said procreating is high on their agenda right now, Bey is putting the brakes on!

According to contactmusic.com, the singer was recently interviewed overseas and revealed she wants to have children – but not yet:

She said: “It’s not time for that yet. But definitely there will be a time. I want to be a great mother, the kind of mother that I have. I want the same bond that I had with my mom and that would be enough for me.

“The security and love I feel being in a relationship, a marriage, it’s absolutely incredible. Incredible.”

The 28-year-old singer said the time for parenthood would come but for now she was happy just being a couple.

We wonder if these two will ever be on the same page.

    I have a feeling that the baby will be concieved in March 2010 as Brazil is her last stop on her tour in Feb. What else would she need a 2 year break for?? Pregnant for 9 months, Give birth Dec 2010, Spend time with baby for 12 months, Back in studio in 2012…If this is not the plan I seriously don’t know when she is going to have a baby but afterall its her life, she is the decision maker.

    She’s just practical and really want to enjoy her moments with jayz! And being a mother is a gift but it’s a tough job!

    I agree…why rush to have kids when you know you’re not ready? But she should know that when you’re married and you haven’t had kids yet, that’s all ppl will ask you until you do have a kid or two. Having a baby changes everything…including her shape, which she’s worked so hard to maintain lol

    Beyonce doesn’t want to give birth to a baby camel. Even if the baby has her eyes…it is still a green eyed camel. LOL

    I hope this doesn’t cause problems in their marriage. Sean is ready and she is not. He is 40 about to be 41, I understand both sides. They should have discussed this BEFORE they said “I do.”
