They also made it clear that it is the lyrics of the song they are against and not the members of the group or their appearance in our city. They stood what they believed in but they weren’t disrespectful in the manner in which they did it. They held a peaceful protest on the day of the event and made the news in a positive manner. The show went on, Freak me baby wasn’t performed, and the concert was still enjoyed by those in attendence.

Please think about this for a moment. If I felt in my heart that something you were doing would land you in an eternal desolation would it not be my responsibility to implore you to repent? Yes the Pastor seems to lack love and has no right to say God hates her. But the greater evil would be to just turn a blind eye and let this young lady continue on this path without making her aware her lifestyle may have consequences. I wish people would research the Bible and its orgin. It has been used for centuries to manipulate populations behaviors. It was used during the 19th century to control slave populations. The Council of Nicea determined what would be included in the Bible and what Scriptures and passages would be omitted. The Bible states that God’s people perish for a lack of knowledge, and that it truly apparent by these over zealot Christians and posters, who have no clue as to the real context of the Bible. The Bible should be used as a guide and not a tool for condemnation or judgement. It should be utilized to guide your own life and not the lives of others. Heck, the Bible states that you should not wear red or eat shellfish, but I do not know of any ministers protesting Red Lobster or clothing retailers that sell red clothes.
