Denzel Washington and Will Smith, arguably the two biggest stars on the planet, are having discussions about bringing a remake to the big screen- and get this- the film is Sidney Poitier and Bill Cosby’s 1974 comedy hit film Uptown Saturday Night.
Clark Kent says: ‘Uptown Saturday Night’ and ‘Let’s Do It Again’ are two of my most cherished and favorite films. Hell, even Christopher Wallace was influenced by it.

I’d really like to see this redone, but dont get it twisted the original was the best. I think with the varietly of funny, skilled, black actors out there, a remake could be a great success. I’m guessing Will smith is Bootsy Farnsworth..and Denzel is Sidney or Bill. A few more big names in the right roles..and this could really take off. Just dont make it corny. peace.

I think it would be good but honestly I would think Will and Martin Lawrence would make a better duo as far as a comedy is concerned. If they redid Lets Do It Again, then Denzel would be good as Biggie Smalls.

I typically don’t like remakes, but Denzel don’t make duds, so this just might work!

That movie doesn’t need a remake it was good just the way it was. Bill and sidney did good in those movies
