If they really knew what they would have to do to make it, most of them would’ve preferred to stay broke than put up with Industry politics. hello blackplanet, i had a hearing test yesterday and passed with flying colors ,lil Kim accepted the challenge, stood up to the plate, and did a wonderful job.

Lil Kim did just fine and I give her a lot of credit from coming out of her comfort zone she could of easily threw a rap piece together but she didn’t she has a lot of courage. I liked it very much.

Lil’ K. did well…..I want 2 remind that not many performers can sing live as good as they sound on the records… Sean Paul sucks live just like Des’ree and Mariah Carey….Why don’t u take a try !!!

I think she was a bit nervous in the beginning but didn’t do horribly. I personally don’t think she is terrific anyway but this wasn’t a failure; she was a little shaky but so was Cyndi. Like I said it wasn’t terrible, but it wasn’t the best performance for either woman.

The bridge between a singer and a rapper is definitely quite different. I respect her for the level of respect that she showed during this ceremony. It is quite obvious . Cyndi Lauper is my girl but i think kim is doing more breathing than singing she should stay in the rap game also i like the old kim look her old nose cheeks and lips she was fine the way she was but anyway if she wanna do this she needs alot of work on her voice so she can do it by herself and not hide behind another singers style and voice……….

She looks hot and I feel that if she gets some work on her voice she might e the next best thing! I admire Bravery and she sure had that to get up in front of all those people and sing when that’s not something she is used to. Gotta lover her tho. She’s always outside of the box! Go Kim!

The one thing i have always liked about kim is that she pays homage to stars that have come before her, regardless of genre. she is the only rapper to date to have done a song with Grace Jones, whom i adored growing up as a very small child in the early 80′s. Who knew Cyndi’s 60-something year-old behind would kill a verse in “lighters up” like she did though?

i think it was hot i mean its a shocker to see both of them do something that there not use too and do a somewhat of a great job and pretty much pull it off hats off to both of them

Maybe she’d have sounded better if she wasn’t so obviously nervous. That carries all through her voice, she was a wreck, and understandably so since she isn’t known for her singing. But like others said, she at least got up there and tried.
