how can people be happy with their bodies when every time they look at tv or at a mag the “ideal” image of beauty that is being presented and held with such high regards looks nothing like them. I am top heavy but have a smaller waist. I love the way I am cuz I work it! I work out and I refuse to be a part of this beauty epidemic. Have I ever thought about getting lipo or wanted a bigger butt, hell yes (lol) I have but quick fixes are just that, QUICK FIXES and i’d rather work for mine. Look at tara reid and star jones. In all honesty, I don’t feel bad for either one of these chicks. Whose fault is it that they were too cheap to go to a reputable surgeon to have augmentation/surgery done?? The side effects sound horrible, but what do you expect when you inject a chemical solution into your body, without medical knowledge/supervision?? They went forward with this nonsense, and they reaped the full benefit of it. I’m not familiar with the chemical, so I googled it…one of the first things that pops up…it’s FDA approved as a skin filler for wrinkles, not for butt augmentation. It’s not widely practiced in the States, as most people end up going to some foreign country….predominately the Philippines, Venezuela, Colombia, etc….and the side effects are well doc**ented. How is it that I could find this out in less than 5 minutes, but they didn’t bother to? You do it at your own risk, and they have no one to blame but themselves.

It is bad that society have many of us believing we need to change in order to be accepted to what is considered beauty. The mind wanders and sometimes we want things that can later hinder us. We all have something or other that if we could change, rather it is physcial, mental, psychological or emotional. Sometimes the more you dwell on these things, the more you are driven to pursue. Thing is to be thankful for what you have. There are other ways to accomplish your desires besides risking your life.

I have a friend who is overweight and has an extremely flat butt……so maybe that’s why the bigger woman wanted it. I feel if society wouldn’t put so much emphasis on being thin (media, magazines, men) then maybe some woman can be satisfied with what GOD gave them.
