A lot of times things change and people get hurt, but even when a couple grows apart I dont feel like divorce is an option, especially when kids are involved. Couples split unnecessarily and I think thats just selfish because having a sexless marriage is not unheard of, and to me if you get a divorce then you are saying that you actually hate a person you once shared something powerful with. Divorce is like saying I hate you and I cant stand to be around you, so I support working through the bad feelings even if you have to give up physical intimacy. The answer is just to continue the course of the relationship and be friends, find ways to make it work, and definitely think about the good times, the kids, and all that good stuff. Then find a way to laugh because some people want to see them apart because they are miserable themselves. Plus, any woman who has ever been pregnant knows that sometimes you can even stand to be around your partner, and it could work either way for the man or the woman, but you just got to work through those feelings. If I were her I would try to make it work for at least 2 yrs after the baby’s birth.
