Hmm…now that’s *odd.* You leave your home and your marriage, based sole-y on a *rumor* not knowing whether or not it’s true–because you are MORE worried about what your church folx is gonna say? That absolutely makes NO sense!

Am I missing something here? Whatever happened to standing by your Husband? Either He has cheated repeatedly cheated on her or she’s just using the church as an excuse to roll out. Whatever the case, it’s a mess!

Something else is going on here.  Either he is a serial cheater like Tiger Woods or they have other issues.  It is just a rumor.

Thank you RaiderNation and BlackMiss62, I just read your posts and that’s the same thing I am thinking too. Something is seriously wrong here. Sole is more worried about her Church Members rather than what her husband thinks? That is one of the reasons why I want a REAL woman, not a Christian woman.

So all it took was a mere “rumor” that Lisa Raye was pushing up on her husband? No actual evidence? Audio? Video? Photographs? Text messages. E-mails? Nothing TANGIBLE? Just a rumor? I haven’t been to church in a while, but last I checked, there was nothing in the bible suggesting guilt until innocence is proven regarding rumors of your man cheating. What if someone spread a rumor that little Mrs. “Saved Christian” was cheating with a church member? Should Ginuine Leave her based on such a rumor? Seems to me that if all it took was a rumor to make her bolt, then she wasn’t in it for the long haul anyway. Hope Homie was smart enough to get a pre-nup and have separate bank accounts if all it takes is his woman to hear a rumor about him and bounce because she’s worried what her “church members might think”.

there has to be more to this story that they arent saying…a woman is not going to leave because of a rumor. i believe it was building up to this point, and maybe too many people were in her ear, at the market, at her church, in her neighborhood, telling her the same story.  We as women have our pride just like you men do. Most of the time…you actually believe your friends over your own woman. (Newsflash-your boys are either trying to get with your woman, or u)  She probably did try to make a happy home for him and the children. Maybe he abandons her so much that she felt like all she had left was their children and her faith, at any rate, It’s always sad when a couple break up.

Damn what church folks think about you and your marriage,  just like other posters commented in this forum, there something wrong with this story.  Why would you leave your husband over a rumor, and why are you so concern about your church members would think.  These so-called church family would have told Sole not to worry about the rumors, especially when they aren’t true.

People, we need to stop worrying about what other thinks and handling your business.  If Sole was on top of her game, she wouldn’t worrying about a so-called rumor about her husband.  

Pitiful. Stop letting the Church and rumors dictate what goes on in your marriage and think for yourself!  Just wait and see where those Church members are at when you need something? Isn’t this just a rumor? As said below, maybe she had something else she wanted to do and this rumor was her chance to go do it. Who knows what really happened?

This story doesn’t sound true.  They have been together for years, are raising four children, she is a Christian, and she leaves her husband because of a rumor… without talking with him.  Too stupid to be true.

She was ready to leave, women and men push up on each other all of the time, if you believe everything that you hear when it comes to rumors and your mate, you will never make it. You cannot do anything about another person pushing up on your mate, you have to trust them.

OMG! She’s worried about what the people at church would be thinking about that? Please! How many times do I have to say that people who go to church and judged the hell out of others are the biggest hypocrites?? If I was Sole, I wouldn’t even be packing and leaving, I would have hire a private investigator that is if I see/find prove of him cheating. Girl should remember marriage is for better or worse and nobody is perfect not even those damn people at the church she go to.

It is very funny to me how people can judge a woman leaving her marriage because of a “rumor”, but you are judging her based on something you are hearing and have no real facts about the situation. We as people really need to stop judging other people’s lives as if our life is perfect. It is possible that there were other situations that triggered her leaving or perhaps none of this is true at all. Stop believing everything you hear. Stop being a slave to the media.

I am almost certain, there is something way more about this than just her leaving over a rumor. There have been hundreds of rumors about Genuwine over the years. And they’ve been together for a very long time. Media outlets will tell us what they want. 

I can’t believe that she stayed through ALL the other rumors, but THIS rumor made her pack up and leave. Nah, there’s more to this than is being reported here – and I doubt it has anything to do with her church either.
