Actor Shia Labeouf had a one-date wonder with singer Rihanna – but says they didn’t hit it off as potential lovers.
The Transformers star tells Playboy he became “infatuated” with the Barbados beauty and was stunned to find out that she was trying to get in touch with him. A mutual stylist friend eventually passed Rihanna’s details to LaBeouf while he was filming Indiana Jones & the Kingdom of The Crystal Skull in Hawaii.
He says, “(I was) filming a sword fight when I got the message. I said to myself, ‘Can this be my life?’” The actor tells Playboy magazine he texted the R&B pin-up and they set up a dinner date: “It never got beyond one date. The spark wasn’t there. We weren’t passionate about each other in that way, so we remain friends.”

Seems like Rihanna is not the only chocolate girl that Shia hooked up with, apparently he met a chick at a bar a few years ago and took her home with him. Here’s what took place:
How did you meet Shia?
I met him at a not so well known bar in LA back before, well when he was starting to become, a movie star. It was not a celeb hot spot, and me and some of my girls decided to go out for some drinks. Never would I think this guy would be here. It was like RIGHT before that movie Disturbia came out. I was at the bar and he was there with some of his boys. We had some eye contact and when I went to the bar, that’s when he came up to me. We talked for awhile, and decided to make out. He is a AMAZING kisser. I’ve never been kissed that good in my life! Let me tell you, for a white boy, they dude has some serious SWAGGA and beautiful eyes. He’s got the charisma flowing through his veins. So he asked me to go back to his place with him. Of course I said yes.
