I am deeply sadden for both of them. I met Jermaine at the kids choice awards, maybe two years ago. I also feel for Janet and knowing some of the Jackson’s themselves. Being part of the Motown family even if you were not around some of them then you still feel for them. My older sister was able to have her dreams come true on her 16th birthday were my father arranged for her to have dinner with Michael. All I have to say that was the best day ever for her and the whole house was teasing her. She adorable Michael. Watching Good Times, Different Strokes, etc, we saw Janet also grow and muture into a beautiful head strong woman. She is one of those people I don’t see as a idol but a woman with courageous and strength. I lost my mother at a young age and my stepmother was there for me. I’m glad that she was and now Janet will pull it all together and those kids will be lucky to have someone like her in their lives. Don’t get it wrong, Media you can say what you want about that family but they are close and every family has some kind of issue(s). If the camera was turned on Media, etc that would be the worst. Their mother Katherine is a great lady and never walked away from her children and always gave them more than enough love. Janet, in time I hope that all wounds can heal and your heart to remend for the children. I don’t want to name drop but The Holland’s send their support and love to all the Jackson’s family. Even your father who put you all through whatever but in some ways the abuse that’s pointed out at him was really one of the ways he only knew how to give love and now in the long run, it paid of with gifted,talented and beautiful children. Now you as an Aunt have to step up and secure those children, allow them to express their feeling at any given time. Please get them journals and let them write in it everyday that they feel they want to express something of saddness, loniless, happiness or just wanting to write to express any feeling. It works! I hope soon that we can get in touch and I would love to extend my hand. I’m sure the nanny or nannies are good but it never replaces the family or someone that has lost a parent at a young age. Therapy helps but just for that quick fix of comfort to talk to someone but after that day is said and done you still continue to miss that person. My father was a songwriter and Prodcuer for Motown early 60′s to the late 60′s and Did Moving Voilations with your brothers, which didn’t do so great but I still have that album and now play it everyday. I feel your pain and I know what your niece and nephews are really going through at this time. Be strong, hold your head up but also release your feeling too. I know you all are in a very sadden place and in disbelief. I also feel that Jermaine is the least of your woo’s, move on girl, you are strong and will out shine again. You really looked great in your time of mourning on the bet show, which how brave of you to speak but it’s not what the family wanted but what Michael meant to you that give your that enter strength. I know I said the same thing when my dad and uncle both told me at 19 yrs old they did worry about me as much as the other siblings. Why? because I have always given that I’m strong and independant attitude. Which, I pretty much moved to Seattle and built my whole life. Now at the age of 41yrs old, they all still look for me on what to do, how to do and you need to. For I could write a novel and help you through this. My father and Uncle are doing a broadway bound musical, let’s give the Ole boys a hand. Which they are here and Vegas. My father has run into your Dad a few times. Anyway, it’s in San Diego until the 23rd of Aug. Press night is July 31st. So I’m sure you and a few family members will wait for it to arrive in NYC. I have the utmost respect for Michael as a person/ entertainer/humanitartin. I can honestly say that I grew up listening to his music and truly believe that Michael was put on this earth to show that if you have passion, dedication, and humility, you can truly do great things.
