wow, i cant complain anymore. My personal experience is terrible also. All i have to say is that the laws only affect the dudes that care about family and are handling their business. The so call thug dudes don’t suffer. i have my son now and have for the past seven years but before that it was hell. I paid over 75 percent of her(son’s mother) income plus health insurance. I needed a ride and ms. baby mama was driving in a lexus. She quit school, no job, food stamps of course and a voucher that gave her a house in a nice neighborhood. Sad world we live in today. I just don’t understand how the court system expects Nas or any man to pay her over forty-six thousand for alimony and then turn around and pay ten thousand in child support, this is outrageous to me. I understand he needs to support his child but why does he have to support her as well? This is distrubing. I know families (with an S) that can live off of less with kids. Pre-nups are not for millions only, and the child support system is corrupt and flawed. The individuals speaking how much support nas is spending are low class individuals that do not know the law or the ethic side of the situation. Nas introduced Kelis to a different lifestyle therefore she is entitled to that lifestyle as well as his son Knight. Anytime you have a child with a woman a man will have to take care of her whether he wants to or not. The judge feels Kelis and Knight deserves the lifestyle. When ladies have a child by a broke cat and living the minimum lifestyle of course $50k sounds like alot. On a real note: There is no price when it comes taking care of what’s yours, that’s your children. Hopefully Kelis will be smart, save some paper, invest wisely and hopefully make that money work for her and Knight. If she can do that, Nas would not mind paying the $50k.

In many cases, I agree that the payments can be ridiculous, but they get you in many ways. You’re paying for that child’s clothing, shoes, food and shelter. Basically, if that child was living with you, you would have to provide shelter and food regardless but because he/she doesn’t, you are still found partly responsible. I knew a guy who brought .26 cents home after paying child support 3 the hard way on one of his checks. DAG! Made me wanna give him mine. Men have been found guilty for so long for not taking care of their kids and resulted to the system having to tax taxpayers to help support another child.

ONE LAST THING:
to all my brothers who don’t know and take care their kids, but still got jammed up. Anytime you are facing a child support issue, RULE NUMBER ONE, never go WITHOUT a lawyer. Believe me, so many guys received a fair trial because they had a lawyer with them. I know form talking to the guys at my job. RULE NUMBER TWO innocent until proven guilty, ALWAYS HAVE RECEIPTS. If you don’t have no receipts, basically what does that say for you? Have some sort of evidence that proves you provide for your child. File for partial custody. Meaning, the child will live with you for half of the month, week, year, etccc…Make sure you have your rent receipts, utility bills etcc.. if you stay home with your momma and don’t have no bills, OH WELL!

I was about to make another type of comment in regards to this subject, but after reading “qunitessentialwoman7″ comment, I’ve been touched in a way that has changed my overall prospective. That stated, there’s little I can comment that better defines the truth and the way she properly explained it. However I will also state that there are always two sides of this. Just as there are adulterous and unfaithful husbands, there also of adulterous and unfaithful wives. In addition to that, you also have to take into an account of the many single and attached women out there that purposely pursue married men, including married/ unmarried women that are already in committed relationships.

I was once severely affected by the infidelity of an ex who cheated on me with a married man. Although I had an idea of the reason for her stepping outside of our relationship to cheat with a married man in which nothing was to develop out of that situation, what I could never wrap my head around was the irrational, rational logical thinking behind why she felt to not only cheat on me, but cheat on me with a married man.

My own mother’s infidelity during her marriage to my father which ultimately lead to their divorce which had caused severe emotional and mental trauma throughout my life to this very day. I was only 3yrs old when one night I suffered a really bad nightmare and as a result I went running into my parents’ bedroom to jump in the bed with them to only discover the man in my parents’ bed with my mother was not my father. It was my mother’s lover and I remember the bed being soaked of their sweat as a result of their adulterous fornication. There’s more to this story but I wanted to share how I witnessed a woman who happens to be my mother committed adultery during her marriage to my father. And where was my father while she was stepping outside of their marriage in the presence of their son. He was on his second tour in South Korea risking his life on a daily basis serving his country pridefully and supporting his supposed loving wife and his two young children.

After he returned home from his tour and as you would think, eager to make love to his wife. How about he contracted a STD from his wife, my mother who I witnessed with my own eyes had brought another man into our home and their bed, slept with another man, contracted a STD and infected my father.
They divorced when I was 5yrs old and my mother did every single evil deed she could to gain custody of my sister and myself and for the remainder of our childhoods used us as tools against my father. And whenever my mother looked at me and saw my father all over again, she emotionally, physically, and mentally abused and neglected me while spoiling my sister to spite me because I refused to hate my father regardless of the ongoing lies she fed me. To this day my mother still questions why I love my father so much. He remarried around a year later and has enjoyed a loving and successful marriage dated 1981 to current without any problems.

Bottom-line, just as there are trifling men in the world, there is as many trifling women in the world as well. Yes Nas most likely cheated, but you also have to point the finger at not only him but the women who pursued and seduced him knowing he was a married men and their collective agendas behind doing so.
So as much as I agree with mostly everything quintessentialwoman7, you can’t 100% put the blame on NAS because I assure you there were plenty of trifling women involved as well. He’s a celebrity that was in a high profile marriage so there was no excuse for the women that pursued him knowing that he was married. And yes the key word being “PURSUED” because virtue of who NAS is, I know for fact that he had more women chasing after him versus him having to chase after women. So make sure that when you’re preaching about adultery that you’re not only address the man at fault but the women that pursued, enticed, and seduced him into his adulterous ways. They’re as equally to blame as well. And the one thing to consider is that not all of them were single lonely women, I’m sure a lot of them were in committed relationships with their own man and many were also married as well.

In closing I will state this. You mentioned the hardening men’s heart toward women. As a man I can explain the main reason behind this phenomenon. It’s commonly noted that a man’s agenda when dealing with a woman is very simple and uncomplicated in comparison to a woman’s agenda. Truth be told, man just enjoys the conquest of getting between a woman’s leg with the less amount of effort of doing so without any other agenda behind achieving such a prize. Women on the other hand, are not as satisfied with the same results. Instead most women will use her virtue in an effect to entice a man to do a lot more than just give her sex. She was whatever the man owns, whether it’s material or something else. Usually it’s material gains the woman is ultimately in pursuit and knows by allowing the man to further indulge in her essence, he will most likely soften up and eventually give the woman her true hearts desire. The simplest way to describe this is nothing short of mutual manipulation of both individuals to get what they want. Man just wants the punani while woman what’s his money and possesses. Us men are not dumb to this and whenever it’s apparent that this is ultimately the agenda of most women, it of course will and has harden our hearts. Because no one in life wants to and enjoys being used. The saying goes, “What’s mine is mine and whats yours is yours”, not “what’s mine is yours and whats yours is yours”….

Last month, we mentioned how singer Kelis had filed financial records with the court to get support and baby expenses from her estranged hubby, Nas.

Recently, she claims to only be making a bit over $20,000 a month, but spending about $80,000!

Idiot!!!

And, since the soon-to-be babymamma doesn’t know how to manage her own money, she wants a lot of Nas’ money to spend.

In fact, she claimed the rapper recently made $11 million for his album deal. But, Nas is fighting back and calling her bulls**t claims out!

In legal papers filed by Nas, he now claims “I did not receive even half that amount.” Nas claims he got closer to $4 million and that he’s making less money as time goes by.

At the moment he’s only making $147,165 a month. But he spends about $70,000 monthly in bills, such as $10k in personal items like clothing and hair.

As for their baby, Nas says he wants to be “fully involved” and says he’s agreed to pay for certain baby items already, like strollers, cribs, and a baby sling.

He also thinks $5,000 a month is a good amount for child support for a newborn. Actually, that baby will be receiving more money monthly than most adults make a month.

Things look like they’ll only get dirtier from here!

Sorry gang, but NO ONE NEEDS 50K a month to live…Kelis is WASHED up, she knows it and she has to do what she has to do to survive now. Her ‘music’ SUCKS, and rarely has she ever seemed to be playing with a full deck ya know! When you know your shyt is slippin…you then need to adjust to your situation..not go after someone else’s hard earned money to keep up with something you really never had in the first place…
