Mariah Wants To Be A Mommy

Start looking for that  baby shower gift for Mariah!!!

During a new interview with In Touch Weekly, the singer, along with her hubby Nick Cannon- Carey, opens up about her career, love life, and her desire to be a mommy.

When asked if they want kids, Mariah says they “definitely” want a family while Nick adds:

“Yes, of course. It’s at the forefront of our minds. We’re very close. But we want to enjoy our first year together. We didn’t have a stable environment. The first year we were in LA in a hotel and then we were like, “Let’s get a house.”

Though the couple can’t decide if they’re gonna raise the kids in New York or LA, but they do know they’d like two kids.

Mariah adds:

“Of course, we’d be happy with one. I want to be able to manage the right amount of attention. We are so busy – if you have six kids running around, no one gets what they need. Kids need a lot of attention.”

And if Mariah gets too old to have kids of her own, adoption isn’t out of the question.

Says Nick, “It’s never out of the question. I was raised by my grandmother, who was also a foster mom, so I grew up around a lot of kids.”

But what about the extra weight gained during pregnancy? According to Mimi, she won’t mind it.

Adds the diva:

“I’d be fine with it. I’m not one of those people who is usually a size 2 to start with and gets scared they will end up a size 3.

We would love to see a little Mimi running around sometime next year.

    I’ve always thought of this relationship as a big JOKE.Visualize Mariah at age 55 or even hit’n 60, is Nick seriously going to stick in there witnessing her aging?Lets be REAL here.This must be some infatuation or a dream of marrying Mariah that hes always had but come on now.not hate’n but as always I tell it like I see it…Now if this is REALITY of her wanting to have a child by Nick uhhh…well…I guess…WORK IT…then smh

    I’m just glad Mariah is bring her A$$ to the black side, finally!…After her “I Had A Vision Of Love” days reality set in( your black!!!)…hmmmm? who would have thought that the vision of love would be Nicks Goofy A$$…just can’t seem to wrap my mind around these two(but, then again,thank God I don’t have to, Whew!)…I swear someone is going to yell “GOTCHA” all in the middle of this Hoax-a$$-publicity stunt…if only dreams came true, eh?…sigh….tired of SMH on this one!…if they like it, I love it…(I guess)..ugh…

    This is the happiest I have ever seen her. She always have a smile on her face. Mariah your clock may be ticking but I’m glad you don’t have kids by some of the people you dated and you waited to have kids (not sex) before you got married. Now you not one of those bitter hip hop, r & B, rapper moms, out there talking shyt bout they baby daddy and trying to get more support then they need of deserve. I’ll continue to keep you and Nick on the prayer list. Say what you want but Nick is cool.

    First And Foremost. Mariah Carey Has Waited to long to have kid’s. And Now that she is 40yrs Old She has taking way to long to want to Concieve a Child. Not only that. Look at Halle Berry. She also waited to long to want to have a Child. She Said It took Her At least 36 Or more tries to concieve a Full Blooded White Baby with the man that she Is with. When you wait a Sertain Period time of your life. You are going to have some Problems along the way. I just want to wish them all the best and happy. Seasons. To them and thier family.. And I Do hope that mariah Don’t give up on the situation. Although. It Not the end of the world, to have something Of what She wante. When I have Read the article. Nick have said that If Mariah Is to old to Concieve a child they can look Into Adoptions. So Thier. Mariah Shouldn’t be bent out of sahape for anything. Well She is waing in about. 170lbs. The Sources said. Not only that She Eat’s like a man to. However. I see that mariah Is not really into this Whole Adoption Thing In the First Place.
