Leave the kids out of the family drama….and i know every family isn’t perfect and has drama….but they seem to have constant drama. I don’t blame her for wanting to get some peace and quiet and in due time i’m sure she will have her family around. From the impression I got some of her family act like they can’t stand on their own two feet and riding her coattail. Just cause your family doesn’t mean you have to do everything for them because your successful! And i agree with others, she had her life together prior anyways and is doing well.

I think Keisha needs to re evaluate her decision about stopping all types of communication with her FAMILY and i emphasize family because family is very important.
Because at the end of the day, you are always going to need your family, now i know sometimes her family be acting crazy and all but we all have family that act crazy, but that does not mean you just up and cut them off.
I think they all need professional help to deal with their issues and try and make it work. Keisha is having a baby and i know she is going to need all the love and support from both her adoptive and biological family. Frankie has issues but dont we all have issues? Frankie is still her mother and she has to try and figure out a way to make it work and as for the kids, i agree its not fair to bring innocent souls to this situation because they haven’t wronged Keisha is anyway. And for her to just stop seeing her nieces and nephews is just wrong.
I love Keisha and am very happy for her and all of her success but she need to forgive to able to move on and find peace within herself and she really need to make amends with her family.
And sometimes when people act up, its coz they are seeking attention and just need someone there for them at that time. And i think Frankie regrets giving her kids up for adoption, and she hurts a lot seeing Keisha more close to her adoptive family than her biological family and that hurts her and she results to acting crazy sometimes and i do hope they find her the help and i wish for her to find inner healing as well and just try and deal with the situation.

I’m sorry but if my family was always acting out in public i would have to distance myself from the for a little while. This story is really starting to heat up and the funny thing about it is no one really has a right to comment about what anyone in this situation has chosen do except for the individuals involved. I just hope Keyshia is making the decision to stop communication with her family because of her own reasons not behind her soon to be husband’s reasons. it is not keyshia cole’s responsibility to take care of her family. i have a milliionaire doctor in my family and have never bothered her for a cent. that is because, i went to college and am able to take care of myself. keyshia’s lazy family member’s need to get a job and work like everyone else.

Why do people feel the need to create and maintain such drama in their lives and then assume that the entire world is waitingwith bated breathe for the next installment? I think that’s what finally got to Keyshia. As she said, enough with the drama already, she wants to raise her baby in peace and quiet without the constant squabbling. I have always wondered why the show of she and her family was really necessary in the first place. She was just starting out and if it was for publicity, she certainly achieved that. Now she is having to pull out and back because of all of the negativity that some of her more troubled family and past has stirred. Yes family is family but sometimes we do have to learn when to let anybody GO. Even if it is FAMILY. This girl has a promising career and life ahead of her and deserves to have the same if not better opportunities for happiness that they all had. Kudos to her for having a strong will, mind and spirit to be herself.

To each is their own but Keyshia got more than what she bargained for. Like so many stars/people today they will do whatever it takes to make a quick dollar. Keyshia’s show on BET was not doing well until she brought Frankie and Neffe up there. She knew how they were before the cameras start rolling. She was not concerned about her career at that time she wanted those checks to come in. I don’t think Keyshia was doing as much for them as she would have people to think. She knew Frankie was a crackhead and that Neffe had issues prior too. No one told her to put those cameras in front of them. I would have never done anything like that. They would have had to get some serious counseling for years before I put them out like that. If anything they all helped each other. They did something for Keyshia as well yes she was singing but no one was really talking about her until she put Frankie and em on that show. As far as her adoptive mother please she is not all that she is portraying either. She has issues as well. People stop looking at the outside look at the heart. @ A_Christina I disagree with that, if you don’t want to deal with somebody then you should not be forced too, be they family or not. For the sake of argument let’s say I agree with you and that you can’t cut contact with your family, that still don’t mean you got to support them financially.

Keyshia had her reasons for what she did, and it is ultimately her decision. She obviously felt that her family members crossed the line. Just because you are family doesn’t give you the right to cross that line. At the end of the day, a family member is still a person, a person who doesn’t like being crossed themselves. If this is not the case, it’s just like the airline safety presentation…You’ve got to put on your own oxygen mask before you can help someone else with theirs.

I don’t really know much about Elite but I can definitely understand why Keyshia cut off Frankie and Neffe…especially Frankie! Sometimes its best to love certain family members from afar. Keyshia is pregnant and she doesn’t need all that drama and stress in her life right now. I have plenty of family members that I don’t talk to nor will I claim because they don’t know how to act! I don’t attend family reunions because there is always a huge fight! A lot of my family members drink but can’t handle their liquor…its embarassing and I don’t want to be associated with them! That may sound mean to some but I just don’t want to deal with foolishness.

I am so happy that Keyshia has made the decision to move on with her life. She tried everything she could to bring her family together. As for Elite, well, Keyshia could have hired anyone to be her personal assistant, but she wanted to support her family and hired her sister. She can say now that she supported Keyshia’s decisions, but she was only there for the ride, trying to get everything she could. And just like other family members, she was there to ride on Keyshia’s coat tail…making appearances, showing up in court, etc…all by using Keyshia’s name. Do you honestly think they would generate any money had they not been related to Keyshia. It’s not like any of the “family members” were supportive until AFTER Keyshia gained success on her own. Hats off to Keyshia lasting this long with all the drama and high level of ignorance displayed. What “family member” could Keyshia call on if she needed financial support or if she had a mental breakdown? None of these! If Elite is truly that caring sister she’s claiming to be, then she’ll respect Keyshia’ decision. In time maybe there can be a mends. However, the only thing that’s apparent is that her family is only interested in fame and money. Funny part about it is the fact that they think they are entitled because they are blood. Not everyone is blessed with a close knit family. For those of you who are, that’s the ultimate. But, for many of us, families are not the solid backbone that they used to be. Everything seems to boil down to MONEY! If the family can only bring the gift of drama, heartache, emotional/mental stress, and financial draining, then Keyshia is definitely better off without them. It’s not worth it. I’m glad Keyshia has learned to love herself enough and gain the strength from within to finally let go. I don’t know exactly why Keyshia chose to cut her biological family off,but I suspect that Frankie and Neffe’s nonstop drama played a role in her decision, along with her own pregnancy and just not wanting to be stressed out and bothered. She may feel differently down the line but for now they really have no choice but to respect her decision,until she reaches out to them.Keyshia’s intentions in reuniting with her biological family were probably good,and she seemed to really want to bring her family together and share her own life and success with them. Sometimes you have to love certain family members from afar because they have potential to tear down everything that you have worked hard for! I wish Keyshia a safe and healthy pregnancy and hope that it all works out!

I don’t know what has happened behind closed doors, but a lil distance/space from those who are bringing negativity and drama into your laugh is necessary. Family isn’t excluded. Maybe down the line they’ll patch it up, but at the end of the day you have to focus on “you” and what makes you happy instead of trying to please others and/or worrying about what outsiders may think or say.

@miss_geminibaybee I totally agree with you. To be honest I have no sympathy for Keyshia I mean because she knew how her family was before she put them on the show. She said she wanted to get them back on thier feet and now they have their own show. I do not agree with the way her family acts but keyshia is no angel herself. She knew that her family would raise the ratings on her show because like they say ” The Most hated is the most loved.” Everyone loves a villian and the media and people feed off of drama. So all these comments about keyshia’s family using her for her money what you need to get is that keyshia used her family first to raise ratings for her show. She knew the drama and mess would make people watch the show but it backfired because watching the good guy is boring. Keyshia brought this on herself so all that fussing she is doing is pure Bull*****. The letter that she wrote was just to make her fan base bigger because if she has no fans she makes no money. All this is just publicity stunts to make people pay attention to her.
