Keyshia Cole recently sat down with Sister 2 Sister magazine and discussed various topics such as her other mom Yvonne’s decision to adopt her at 5 months, Frankie’s jealous behavior and relationships.

My thing is, if the guy understands certain needs that the woman has, then it’s going to always work because he has that love for her. He has that respect for her. “Okay baby I’m listening and I want to know what you need. I want to know what it’s going to take for us to be better, for us to work this out. And that’s a beautiful feeling just to know that he’s listening.
….I mean I think you never know somebody. I wish I could just open up somebody’s soul and be able to read their soul, but there is no way possible you can do that. Or I wish the same thing for the person I’m with. I wish he could just open my soul and read everything that I’m about because I know what kind of person I am.
Keyshia on her future plans:
One day when I’m married [I'm going to cook]. Listen, you don’t even understand. I have a whole future set up for myself. I want to be married. I want to have a child. I want to have my own coffee shop. I want to own my own pet store. I want to learn how to cook. I want to go back to school. Like, I have so much to do after I retire…
