Well, she’s really not a great beauty, lol. I mean she’s not fugly or anything, but she could do with a little roundness. So little body fat makes her appear older. She just looks like your average middle-aged woman really.

Truth be told Michelle Obama is no raving beauty. At best she is a “handsome woman” but I don’t know any man that would ignore her. She has grace and “presence”.

Iman just said what’s on the minds of some. She does not possess the black American affinity to avoid stating the obvious when it comes to powerful black people. In fact, Iman’s words are somewhat ironic for if you took away her fake hair/eye lashes/pound of make up, I doubt if anyone would afford her any special attention. She’d just be a middle aged woman who could use a can or two of Ensure! Most of the working models I see are never the finest on the street but “fine” is subjective.

At the end of the day, Michelle Obama is a keeper. I agree that she will get better with age but she’s in her prime right now. And a lot of us wish we had a woman like her.

If Michelle were a single woman, I’d prefer her anyday compared to an over-the-hill psuedo-sista super model. Michelle is a beautiful woman, inside and out. I remember President Obama talking about how when he first started dating her, you could see the road through the bottom of his car. A woman who considers a mans character and potential first is a blessing. A hater who has to date men of a different ethnicity to feel they’ve “arrived” and make stupid statements is a curse!

I think back to my sister and how she handled her haters and girls who would make bad comments about her looks. She’d say “I know somebody who likes it!” That shut the girls up because they didn’t have a boyfriend or one worth anything!. Mrs. Obama can say “I know someone who likes it!” The President of the United States likes what she has. You can’t get any higher than that!

I think she is beautiful. In every way. She has class. She isnt afraid to be herself. I think she is great looking now and yes will continue to be as she ages. You see when a woman of any color carries herself well, is smart and thinks on her own instead of trying to “fit a mold” of what society thinks we ought to look like, she is beautiful. Like Mandisa said ” god made me in his image, that makes me a beauty queen.” Besides why would you ever comment to a journalist on the looks of a woman in the position that Michelle Obama is in? Mrs. Obama has never put herself out there as a model or beauty queen. She is putting herself out there as the “First Lady”. I’m happy to see she is an active First Lady. She’s speaking somewhere a couple of times a week. She gave a commencement address last week. She’s putting herself out there as an encourager and motivator. And doing a GREAT job!

I don’t think Iman was trying to be offensive. She could have stated her point better. But It’s like the saying pretty boys don’t age well ergo Babyface for Example.

Michele Obama isn’t the most attractive woman in the world. Not saying the 1st lady is ugly but she is for all purposes is an average looking black woman nothing in the line of beauty stands out about her.

Yet she has a poise a grace and a presence that exceeds every 1st lady that has proceeded her.

She’s is the mark of dignity that most black women should inspire to attain far as carrying ones self.

And Iman was saying those things far surpass her beauty which is slowly fading away where’s as those qualities in Michele Obama can only get stronger with time!
