As far as white men wanting me, well I would have no issues in that department should that be my preference, I , however, am attracted to black men. I actually agree with your statement that most white women are easy, submissive and do anything to please a black man, but what you may want to rethink is that it is not just for a black man, but any man regardless of race. Most white women are raised to treat a man that way, make him feel like a king. I think that for anyone to have an issue with someone because they date someone of a different ethnic background is simply ignorant behavior. If we were all blind it would not matter. What should matter when it comes to these things is that you are treating and being treated like the queen/king that you are. If you met a person who had the same strong character, education,morals, values and all the other wonderful qualities you present yourself to have, but he was white, would you dismiss him? I for one, have NO idea who Russell Simmons is, having said that, I cannot see anything exciting about him that would cause women to fight over him? I am a “mutt,” as the President described himself, and (like him,) spent most of my younger life in the “white world.” From my experiences with both my white mother, and the rest of her race, I can tell that no matter how well meaning a white person is, they have NO CLUE about what black people have suffered and continue to suffer. So Miss Henderson’s comments have little validity when she is discussing the plight of black people. Dating black men, does not bestow upon you honourary “blackness. I used to date exclusively white men, until about 15 years ago, when I realised they could not give me what I needed. I am truly blessed by God to have found the wonderfulness of black men, and feel sorry for the ones that feel compelled by society to seek out white women to establish validation. As I have stated, I am both black and white, and have seen both sides of this issue, and I wish that the “well meaning” white people would channel their concern towards helping change the existing conditions that their ancestors wrought. To me that would be a legitimate use of those feelings. In closing, let me just say that this missive was not intended to denigrate white men or to insist that black men are perfect, because I have dated some white men that were nice guys, and some black men that should be ashamed of themselves.
