This is a very delicate topic to be discussing because suicide comes across so many people’s minds at some point in their life.Even though a lot of people try to deny it or say they never contemplated it,life can get very stressful,especially when you are in the spotlight.God Bless Ginuine for not taking his life because he does have talent and I know that would of hurt a lot of ladies if he did take that route.

That Genuine KNOWS he is fine….ok, I digress. :) I am SO glad that He sought the help of the Lord…Jesus is still the way! I lost my dear Mommy last year also. She was a real woman of God, and I know she’s with the Savior, but it’s hard everyday, and without getting in my Word, and staying around the people of God I couldn’t make it. God Bless Genuine and I hope he stays clean and gets even closer to God-there’s no other way! :)

To the DUDE who says that if you want to take your life go right ahead,thats ridiculous!Life is not always EASY for everybody,somtimes we are faced with things that we just are not prepared for.You HAVE TO GIVE IT TO GOD,and trust that he will take the pain away!When i go thru my stuff i always listen to 2 songs,Kirk Franklin-Imagine Me,and R.Kelly-The Storm Is Over Now,they make me realize that EVERYBODY GOES THROUGH PAIN in there life,but we still GO ON!Praise God!

I can fully relate. Depression is no joke, after my mom died of cancer in sep of 07, i lost my job of ten years in dec 07, then a close friend died in jan of 08, another close friend in feb of 08 my fiance was killed in mar of 08. I was a complete wreck. It is only because of my kids that i wanted to live. The pain was unbearable and it caused me to cling to GOD. I needed god to get me from minute to minute. My heart goes out to those that suffer from depression or go thru the type of pain i went thru. My test was my testimony to be a help to others that are ‘GOING THRU’ To let them know that NOT ONLY IS GOD REAL, HE CARES FOR US AND IS FULLY IN CONTROL. So if there is unbearable pain in YOUR LIFE give it to god because no one else will bring you thru it and if there is NO PAIN in your life STILL give it to GOD so that you will be able to stand when YOUR TEST COMES. TO GOD BE THE GLORY.

Dude who hasn’t considered or even attempted to take their own life. The emotional sorrow of the loss of a loved one; the emptiness of life when you can’t find that “special someone” because everyone is so fake and superficial; personal economic crisis; lack of respect from family; pressure from family because they think the world revolves around them and you are nothing more than their personal servant; domestic abuse; guilt; violence; bigotry; harassment/discrimination; embracing immorality; too damned much fame when you really have nothing of substance to offer – these and others are triggers to wanting to end the misery and pain.

Quite frankly I think we get too worked up over things because we let other people control our lives and/or we think we are better than others and should therefore be “worshipped” is a huge issue. If someone wants to end their own life and go to hell then damnit go right ahead. Perhaps someone will mourn the loss but they will move on.

I hope people will understand these demons that was trying to take control of his soul and not try to point fingers like their life’s are better when no one is prefect except for the man above. I salute you on coming thru the storm and for staying that way for your family. Your father was a nice man and remember the good times and let the bad one ride off into the sunset, live your life they way you want and not how others want you too that are not either your wife, children, and others that count. i get annoyed when people say things like, just have faith, just be strong.. all these nice things.. its ment well, i know. but if it was that easy no one would commit suicide. i think that unless you’ve been that far out..and really felt what it means to be lost, you cant really give advice…cuz you dont understand. if u have someone close to u, most importantly, be there. listen, and let them know that regardless, you love them. cuz the loneliness is what really gets to you…

Even though there are other people going through the same problem, the point is a lot of people don’t know how to deal with their problems. They drink a lot, get hooked on drugs, have sex with whoever/whenever/wherever, basically destroy themselves mentally and physically. Once you have children hopefully you are strong enough to look at life in a different light because it’s not just about you anymore and I’m very glad he did. Good luck and God bless.

They say pressure will bust a pipe. I look at him with his situation as well as some of the other famous people. To exclude Ginuwine, the others there is no excuse. Some of them just do s**t cuz they can. You got people are here strugglin to make it in this world and they are just messin up their lives. My heart goes out to Ginuwine, now thats what I CALL A REAL BALLA…..the rest of them dont know what it feels like to have s**t like this hanging over you. Maybe they do but now that they are paid, they feel everything is iigghhtt.
