Watching Frankie and Neffe and Keisha on these shows is really heartbreaking. The hurt that comes along with trying to heal a broken family is so real. I wrote a book in 2004 that tells the affects of a mothers actions on her children and grandchildren. If Frankie doesn’t change her ways, she will lose the most important thing in life; her family. It isn’t hard to give tough love to your own mother, but sometimes it must be done. My mother was a drug addict also. At 66 years old, I am still trying to encourage her to stay away from the drugs and alcohol. Not to mention the men young enough to be my sons. Frankie, try reading “Come Walk In My Lost Shoes”, see if you see yourself in my mother. Yes, we don’t all succ**b to our mothers actions. God saves some of us to let others know that we can break the cycle. Many walk in their mother’s shoes. But, I chose to seek God and get some new shoes. Be encouraged Neffe and Keisha, you are not the only ones that have to love your mother through her storm. Remember, God loved us even while we were stillo in our mess.

All these high drama reality shows depicting black people as “straight ignorant” and “no class” really, truly pisses me off. I knew the mother was still doing “something”. Her behavior was always irrational. She’ll fly off the handle at simple minor things. I know it hurts Keyshia that her mother and sister are CONSTANTLY acting a fool and KILLING her brand name. Keyshia had a family to take her in and love and guied her, and she stills deal with issues about Frankie. She had someone, and Neffe didnt and Frankie didnt, well now they have help. Becouse of this show. And Frankie doesnt make me look bad, who Frankie really makes look bad is Frankie.
