I believe Whitney did take responsibility for her actions never did she say “Bobby made me use drugs” or that she was held hostage. Unless you been there you really cannot relate to what was going on I say Congratulations to Whitney and hopefully she can continue to stay strong.

I don’t believe her interview with Oprah places all the blame on B Brown. She took responsiblity for her own insecurity especially when she downplayed her own talent in order not to outshine Bobby. But she also says she took her vows seriously and was not bringing other people physically into their marriage. I think she was fair. It may not all be true (there are three sides to this: B Brown’s side, W Houston’s side, and the truth) but she really could have handed it to him on TV. She’s come a long way and it’s an inspriation to those who need to overcome a mountain in their life.

Whitney Houston should be commended for her interview with Oprah because it could have been an all out blame game. It always takes two people for a relationship to either work or fail. It is sad that their relationship lasted as long as it did amongst all the chaos. In order for some individuals to get their lives back on track either something tragic has to happen or they hit rock bottom. Unfortunately, for some they can never release themselves from the terrible battle with drug addiction or even destructive relationships. They are forever trying to run and hide from themselves and their reality. I am proud of Whitney for overcoming her demons and her addiction. She has a long road ahead of her but as long as she remains honest with herself and others she will do just fine. Here’s my two cents. I don’t feel like he got her started on drugs. I feel she was doing drugs before Bobby. I think that they had that in common. I get so tired of people saying he got her started.
