Celebs paid homage to the battlefield with this top trend of 2009. Military style jackets were seen on all of the most stylish celebs, from Kanye, to Jennifer Hudson.
Oversized Shoulders
The return of the shoulder pads was eminent in 2009. Celebs took advantage of the angular trend, rocking dresses, jackets and blouses with embellished shoulders.
Outrageous Sunglasses
The easiest way to make a quick impression is to put something crazy on your face. Celebs took advantage of this chance to draw more attention to themselves by wearing the most outrageous sunglasses, indoors and out. The more impractical, the better when it comes to shades in 2009.
Leotards
Pants seemed to have been taboo in 2009 because many celebs just decided to leave them at home all year. But on stage and in public celebs wore their leotards as full outfits, leaving almost nothing below the waist to the imagination.
