This comes as no surprise to me really. Although Asian people come to America and set up shop and pull millions out of many of people…especially in the black communities. With their beauty supply stores, chinese american food, and their toxic nail salons, it remains obvious they have a great dislike for the black community. Coming from a teller background I faced it a lot being in a branch where there were many Asian customers. They try to talk down to us and pretend not to know the English language, but as soon as we peep their game their attitudes are really shown and the English comes out. Be proud of who you are and where you come from, whether it traces back to Africa or not. Black is beautiful and their race is a curse. Anything other than black is white anyway they’re just from different parts of the world with different categories. They can’t make me hate myself or feel ashamed of the complexion of my skin. Boycott their business and send the ones here back to where they ran from. They’ll really have a different way of looking at us. Never bite the hand that feeds you..thats a universal saying.

I don’t know where ya’ll live but over here in Massachusetts there’s asians (cambodians mostly) especially in the Lowell, Lynn, and inner parts of Boston. I tend to see alot of the younger crowd of asians hangin with younger crowd of blacks idk my neighbors asian too and I have a couple asian friends and I have not experienced any racism from them. Don’t generalize a whole people, us blacks should know better then that.

I’m of Cambodian descent and I truly understand how the asian community views are of dark skin people. Asians of lighter skin tone are considers beautiful just like the Europeans or Americans. While dark skins children are unattractive. Just watch some of our movies, the leading roles are always given to light skin asians and while dark skin asians were given roles as the servants or criminals. I agree that she’s better off living here in America. It’s a shame that the Chinese don’t consider her Chinese because she’s biracial. My daughter is also of mixed parentage and I’m proud people are able to accept the fact that she’s Black and Cambodian.

I’m on sweetestscent02 side on this, it’s not the fact that Chinese hate African descendants, which they don’t; basically, they look down to anything that has a darker complexion. They go by their Confucius values that believes that anything that is lacks light is tainted, which if you study into Confucianism and the original map of China (zhong guo or 中国) they believe that their civilization was the center and anything on the outside was a barbarian or savage. So much that you all have to learn, just like the East Asians have to learn about Africans besides exploiting Africans for oil. I’m sorry to say that all northeastern Asians (Chinese, Japan, and Koreans) believe this type of philosophy, and as sylkiifeather said, they are competing against us for the higher position in terms of socioeconomic status in both jobs and education. Our minds as African Americans (or Americans) generally don’t focus on them and they use that against us in a PASSIVE sense hence why they do so well in America. But I’m going to end off by stating this; we as African Americans have a long way to go because so much is going on while we focus on 1-2 things several things are happening right under our noses… As I learn Mandarin, I get the funny stares by them because I can speak it better than them and they’re trying to figure out WHY AM I IN THE CLASS & WHAT AM I GOING TO DO WITH IT. I think that people in other parts of the world are taking their cues about Blacks and their worth from the people right here in our own country.

We do now know that the oldest habitable areas in china have histories and customs linking directly to the people of color who had so long before come to China’s shores. However, China as all similarly viewed and acting cultures will not be truly respected throughout the world until it accepts and acknowledges it’s African related past, instead of embracing the beliefs that denying it’s past will assure it of a bright and regal future.
