Chaka Khan Tried To Stop Whitney’s Drug Abuse!!!

The fabulous R&B singer Chaka Khan sat down with Britain’s OK! Magazine for a recent interview, and claims Whitney’s drug addiction tore the icons apart. Chaka said she attempted to help Whitney fight her drug abuse, but was shot down breaking the once tight friendship.

Khan introduced a young Whitney  to the word when she had teenage Houston sing background vocals on her song “Naughty.”  The two became close friends from there.

“I love her very much, but we’re not close any more,” Khan told OK! “I reached out, but she doesn’t want my help. Maybe she thinks I’m going to confront her, but after what I’ve been though, c’mon…”

Chaka also discussed her own drug addiction that she kicked in the ’90s and wanted to help Whitney do the same, though she was turned away.

    who says whitney is doing good?! The album wasn’t good to me, and if you ask me, the chick was high as ever as she was talking to Oprah about being clean and sober. Bash me for my remarks, call me a hater, call me crazy, but i have lived around enough drug addicts, and battled enough minor demons of my own to know what i know…if you know what i mean!

    Obviously U DID SEE THE OPRAH INTERVIEW bro! I was there live on October 4th 2009, and let me reinterate Whitney Houston is NOT on anykind of drugs! She was dressed professionally, sounded wonderfully, and spoke intelligently…I am not sure why u said, wut u said! Bro, I am praying 4 u, anfd wuteva it is ur going thru, to have so much anger in ur heart.

    It’s over for Whitney. Most people are tired of the Tina Turner-esque comeback. It’s the most-played-out story by now. Only black folks, particularly women, love hearing the same tale like this one. The fact is, nobody thought her marriage to Bobby Brown was a good idea when it first happened, but she knew better than all of us, or so she believed. I don’t feel bad for her at all. I wouldn’t care if she got back on the pipe. At least she’d be more interesting (LOL)

    agree with you 100% @ LastManStandingTall…i said the same things the last time there was a story on Whitney. who cares about her recovery or her album. and i dont feel sympathy for her either…(dont attack me again on this Whitney subject…you know who you are lol…). im just giving my opinion…
