Now, here’s the kicker: over time, when one (HOPEFULLY) becomes wiser, or EVOLVED, isn’t it true that they learn how to avoid those situations or at least to better navigate them (not everyone, because some people spend their lives making the same dumb azz mistakes, but for the sake of time, humor me).

For the most part, people know exactly what they want, but it’s usually outside forces that influence their behavior (well those that are still young and ‘struggling’). Question well what about the child who identifies the like for the samesex at say 6 or even 8yrs of age. What do they know about lust. And what does the scripture say prior to Romans chapter 1 verse 24-26 that ties this portion of scripture into that which relates to Lesbian,Gay, Homosexual or Transgender. And what I do know is God loves all his children and there is not one that is without sin.who r we to pass judgement on anyone, we r responsible for bringing people to Christ not pushing them away with our judgements. How do we know that, that thing which makes us so uncomfortable with an individual is the thing that God is concern with unless u have had the conversation with God and know for certain his thoughts for each individual. Why can’t our concern be with bring people in so that God can do the rest. God is not man that he should think as man do. There are many of mans interpetation of Gods word. Is God not more concern with the condition of ones heart more so than what or who someone is doing. I am a teacher and I have studied the Word of God for many years, (spiritual warfare and End Time prophesies) and not saying that those credentials have made me a scholar but what I truly believe is that God’s word is just what it is; His Word. He will not compromise or justify and change His word for anyone. Sex outside of Marriage is wrong. Any kind of sex, from: fornication, adultery, beastiality, homosexuality, masterbation, and even the bible says that we shouldnt even look upon another lustfully because we have already committed the sin in our hearts. The bible also states that all other sins a man/woman commits outside his body but sexual immorality is a sin that a man/woman commits inside his body. (1 Corinthians 6:12–20) We also remember that there are spirits (demons) out there that are assigned to feed off our thoughts and decisions to get and keep us in sin. We are living in a world now where sin is more rampant than ever, and children have been targeted because they are the most innocent. Children raping other children, children commting suicide, children feeling sexual arousals at such a young age for the same or opposite sex is not normal. God loves the sinner and not the sin, so please dont mistake that over anything else. We are all born into sin but it is up to us not to choose to sin and then continue to sin. We cant conform God’s word to fit our sin and then say God understands, because someone wants to continue to sin. God is always going to love us no matter what, but please dont mistake His kindness for weakness. He says: “My word, which comes from my mouth, is like the rain and snow. It WILL NOT come back to me without results. It will accomplish whatever I want and achieve whatever I send it to do.” Isaiah 55:11. People dont want to learn the ugly truth because it is what it is: UGLY. Because it hurts them to think that is how God can see them. If God had to turn away from Jesus (His only begotten Son) when He was on the cross because He had took on every sin upon Him, then why wouldnt those same rules apply to us when we sin? The blood was shed so that we can be forgiven and cleansed from our sins and to bring us back to God. Not here to preach but I do love Jesus and I know I am not perfect but I do walk with the Perfect One and live my life as such. Jesus is Lord!

Well.. Christians are supposed to make disciples, which means teach the Word of God. And the Word of God clearly states that sex outside of marriage is wrong.

Listen, how many times have I had to hear from some black man telling me that his wife, girlfriend or child’s mother decided to end things because she is now a lesbian? In fact, you cannot walk a block in any major city today and not see at least 5 or 6 women sporting their rainbow outfits, or hugged up with each other…
And then there are other black women want to defend them and advocate for their rights… smiling in their faces telling us men that their “dike friend” is more of a man that we are….

I totally agree with too_much7467′s comment. When is it okay in today’s society to use personal confusion about one’s sexuality as a pass or excuse to hurt another human being??? I too am very tired of hearing about homosexuality not being understood or judged by heterosexuals when many of these same whiners conduct their lives without any regard for the feelings of others. Look at Terrance Dean’s video. He himself shows no regard for the people he may have hurt by messing with some guy who said he was engaged. Both own that sin, but when you know someone is in something, how you gonna GO AHEAD and get it in anyway with that person because they may be confused about their own sexuality.

I have quite a few homosexual friends, male and female. I have always noticed a general disregard for ‘rules’ of relationships when it comes to sexual encounters and using the excuse of their sexuality as justification for their actions so they can sleep better. That is why I always encourage people to do their own research. When you have a fully funded and well-marketed plan, it’s easy to get people to buy into it. And since we are the most easily influenced people on the face of the earth, it doesn’t take much to get us to “drink the Kool-aid”. Think back to 8-10 years ago when we saw a “Girls Gone Wild” informercial, and we all had the “white girls are drunken s**ts” reaction. Fast forward to now and sleaziness, bi-sexuality, and lesbians are indeed being marketed to our kids. Ask yourself, a full ten years since she was in her prime (if you wanna call it a prime), why is Lil’ Kim still relevant and in the public eye? It’s because she has sold out and willingly represents the w***e archtype. Why are Beyonce, Rhianna, Ciara, Trina dnd others just as well-known for their scandal as they are for any talent they may or may not possess. It’s because of the image they project to our young girls. If you want to know the effect, click on Youtube and see how many of them make their own vids imitating the behavior that is being fed to them. When they is portrayed to them as “cool”, then you know what the result will be. The thing is not to point the finger, but the recognize the source and determine to give the younger generation better examples of manhood and womanhood. As far as women sporting rainbow gear, that fad will either wear off or it won’t. We may just have a lost generation of Black women who are rightfully or wrongly disillusioned with Black men. But the bottom line of it is the still know there’s a need for men. That’s why many seek out the women they feel can best imitate us. That whole, ‘I don’t want a man, I want a woman PRETENDING to be a man’ logic is flawed at it’s core. And when you have 20 and 30 something year old women whose very essence is tied up in projecting themselves as teen-aged boys, that should tell you that something is off-center. How ridiculous is it to see a 30 year old woman with a doo-rag, baseball cap in sideways, saggin’ jean and boxers, and underneath it all a sports bra so tight she can hardly breathe? That could be intrepreted as a defense mechanism against Black men that they feel have let them down. But back to the original point, to generalize about all Black women is wrong. We have to know how to better express whatever frustrations we have without putting out a blanket statement like that.

you are right I shouldnt have made the blanket statement, and I am old enough to know that generalizations are wrong. But I wrote it out of frustration, because black women fight tooth and nail to negate the importance of black men. Black men are usually too foolish to tell say anything because lesbians and bisexuals are supposed to be more desirable than straight women, and think that there is something to be gained by being around these women.
Have you ever thought that maybe it is black women who have let US, black men down??? Why is it always the fault of Black men that women chose to be gay? The way I see it, there is nothing that I or any man can do to make a woman sleep with another woman! That dog aint gonna hunt! @ Anthropological… One of the hardest things to be in this world is a Black man in America. This country go to great lengths to cast us in a negative light, and then when some of us live up to the negative portrayals, people are quick to say “See, we knew it”. But looking back through American history, there were Jewish immigrants, Irish immigrants, and Italian immigrants, who all resorted to criminal behavior when they perceived that fair and equal opportunities weren’t forthcoming. But eventually the playing field started to be evened out for them, and they were socialized into acceptable society. No such olive branch has been extended to Black men as a whole, so we’ve had to be twice as good to get half as far. COINTELPRO showed us that the powers that be were not above fabricating and or creating situations that will leave us with criminal records, and further behind the proverbial 8 ball. The government OPENLY offers benefits (welfare, Section 8, WIC, etc…) for having a household that separated Black men from their families. So, while again, I understand your frustration, you have to look at the source and cause. Very little in today’s world is as simple as black and white, ABC or 123. And while some may dismiss it as “conspiracy theory”, but when a lot of this s**t is REALLY happening I tend to think of it as conspiracy fact!!!

Many brothers have been there, watching sistas opt for the thugs and drug dealers, while you were ostracized as a nerd or square. But when you’re bombarded with images “real ni99as”, “ride or die chicks”, etc… that becomes the cool option. Brains, consciousness, self-awareness went the way of the dinousaur as soon as Ni99as Wit’ Attitude and Bytches With Problems got record deals.

So yeah, while sistas have some culpability in the matter, it’s actually far larger than them. I watched my mother put her all into raising me and my siblings despite having a half-azzed father. She never poisoned my mind against him, but as I got older, I could see things on my own. As opposed to using it as an excuse to become a statistic, I could only make up my mind to be a better father than the one I had. There are sistas out there struggling to do the same with their children. And we can’t overlook that.

Homosexuality strikes many underdesirable chords within the Black community when spoken of openly, with people clanging for support and denouncing the views which oppose theirs as either bigoted or selfish, on both sides of the debate. But it’s much more than a debate; it’s a lifestyle for many, and can be one lived with much difficulty, with all the prejudices and contradictions which abound– so perhaps i should share a few of my one. Whether it’s bc of how I was raised, philosophically and religiously, bc how I’ve come to view sexuality and biology in the course of my young life, I do think homosexuality is a sin and is immoral; then again, so is premarital sex, so who am I to judge?lmao Also, I still never understood the bit on the difference between sexual orientation and sexual preference; I can’t imagine always having been attracted to one type of person, gender or size or w.e. else, like as if that’s written in us from birth to either be one way or the other when it comes to what we want? I’d think that that comes with experiences as we grow and how we get made to feel in those moments of pure bliss with the persons and types of circ**stances that give us that rush; but if anyone could better expound on that for me, I’d respectfully like to hear your point and opinion for discussion and enlightenment haha
But with all that said, I believe when it comes to attraction, desire, and sexuality, especially when in relationships, the most important thing is choice. As Terrance Dean himself said in his response in the article, we gotta be open, especially with those we are actually with, and with those who are supposed to care for us, relatives and friends. We all wanna live our lives; why not be responsible at the same time and let those in our lives know who we really are, and give them a chance to accept you for you? If the care for you as a person and not just for your status they will come to be there for who you are, not who you want to be with; but give them some space to deal and accept the truth, especially if you’ve been living a lie with them this entire time.
As far as whose fault it is, between Black men and Black women, when it comes to relations and relationships for their collapse, we both just gotta learn to communicate and respect each other better and not treat the other as a means to a nut or an ornament of property. Be real, learn to keep s**t in the relationship there and work it out there instead of with your homeboys and girlfriends and every body else, and in general have set standards based on respect and love, not on whose gotta be dominant and the winner of the relationship.

And as for “single mothers”…. it’s funny that every man that I know has a relationship with his kids, even though he doesnt have one with their kid’s mother… myself included…The real REAL reason that a lot men aren’t in their kid’s lives is because most of the women have kids with men that they don’t know, that they were creeping with, or that were married to someone else. I’m gonna give you the benefit of the doubt and just say that you’re a little confused about my point. Where did I ever say that Black women were turning lesbian because of what Black men have done? I said some were “rightfully or wrongfully disillusioned with Black men”. But I went through a pretty lenghty explanation of the sourse of that disillusionment, from the agenda afoot to drive a wedge between the two. to the media’s obsession with promoting negative stereotypes and some men buying into them.

It’s not that Black men and women haven’t done hurtful things to EACH OTHER, but that in itself doesn’t make someone try homosexuality. Why not just make it your business to meet another man, or sometimes, more specifically another TYPE of man?

The homo lifestyle is being promoted in music, videos, movies, novels, TV, advertising, everywhere you turn. But I don’t ever see that being a justifiable option. “My man pissed me off, so I gonna try this lesbian thing”, sounds totally stupid to me.

Wrong…. I am not bitter. I can care less what black women do actually. I haven’t dealt with a black woman in 15 years and I think I am better for it and I will tell you why:
a) Black women say that they “love black men” but we all know that itsn’t true, what black women love is black men that look good, or make a lot of money. Aint no love lost between us, and I think as soon as we accept that we can deal with it.
b) brothers like Chuckyluv tend to kiss black women’s azzes so much that when a black man has an honest critique of black women then we all hate black women and we hate ourselves.
c) I agree that a lot of people are hurt in this world and their actions are actually reaction to the hurt that has been done to them. But my life is too short to have to prove to each black woman that I am not like her father, or her ex man.
4) And there is no other culture in this country that treats their men with so much vitriol and animosity as much as a black women… and I agree it all starts with the media… the Color Purple, for example. I do a lot of reading and watching doc**entaries on different topics, but this one is really just a matter of what you’ve been exposed to relationship-wise. @ Anthropological… I would advise you to ask around about the relationships and divorce rate among other ethnicities. Better yet, watch Discovery ID Channel, Court TV, and other channels to see what happens when “white love” among other races goes wrong. I spent a number of years working in the investment industry and 98% of the people I worked with were white. Trust me, bitterness exists among married couples and it’s exponentially more intense of there’s money at stake. Ask around and see how many so-called Jews in this country have been married 2 and 3 times. They don’t generally decide that they’re ONLY dealing with non-Jews going forward.

I never said dating white latin or asian women was some sort of Shangri-La. But I HAVE noticed the absence of hostility. I happened on interracial dating by accident. I met a friend of a friend and found exactly what I always wanted in a woman… and the absense of hostility.
I know that the divorce rate in this country is around 50% and any divorce can be vicious, but what I am talking about is the blatant hostility of women when you say hello to them and they find you lacking (or maybe they don’t). See me I am not big on “religion” either. But I believe in god! And I leave it as that. I’m not with belonging to a religion(its worst then the race war). I don’t go to church because the preachers don’t even preach anymore, they talk more about what’s going on in Jay-Z and Beyonce’s life. However I did belong to a church growing up but my preacher died. And I haven’t been to a church yet that preaches the word like he did. So I basically have talks with god and read my bible. However I am not as close as I like to be with god. And I do not go around judging others and preaching. But if I see where one is false prophecy-ing or is being a hypocrite I will speak up.
