It shows you’re a loser if you have to buy your own fake wedding ring. This is something a lot of feminist, angry white women were doing, a few years ago. They were buying expensive canary diamond laced fake wedding bands and calling them “promise” rings or something like that, because no one would marry them, so they married themselves? It says desperate, angry and pathetic. How about you change you act, become acceptable, so that someone REAL will actually want to marry you? Just a thought.

Women don’t always want to be hit on~ and MOST men don’t take “no” for an answer~ so the quickest and easiest way to avoid having the “not interested, but thank you” convo is to have a ring on..

Men are more inclined to be respectful of the fact that you are”married/in a relationship” serious enough to have a ring, and will fall back.

I’ve done this on vacations, at the club and sometimes in regular day life. If I am in the mood to put myself out there than the ring comes off…

odoggz… wow@angry “white” women… it has nothing to do w/race or any women being angry…

i was married (to a black man)… divorce is not final yet, but the actual wedding ring was moved to my right ring finger & left ring finger was replaced w/a ring my mother bought my sister & i (both the same ring, same size) w/3 nice big stones surrounded by lots of smaller ones… to symbolize my mother’s 3 daughters (1 of which passed away 12/93 – RIP Paula).

they just happen to fit both our left ring fingers best… we’ve both been married & she’s already divorced & i’m about to be… we saw it fitting that we keep our rings size as is. i wear it, b/c i like it (simple as that). don’t want to wait to have it sized…

but in addition, it does have its benefit… granted plenty of men do NOT care or pay any attention to the “wedding” ring… but my thing is this, either way… when i was young, yes i found it highly flattering being out in public & random men trying to talk to me…

but now that i’m older & wiser, i do NOT want “random” men “trying” to talk to me… b/c if he hollers at random women now, he will probably continue to do so for a while at least… & any man who i really get to know, through much better means, will probably have conversations w/me over time to find out i am not married or still w/my ex.
