WHO HE IS: This 41-year-old Connecticut native is an accomplished martial artist, boasting 7 Black Belts in multiple martial art disciplines. When his career began to take off in the mid-90s, White moved to Brooklyn to pursue his acting career. Most of his film roles center around his flare for martial arts; including Spawn (1997), Exit Wounds(2001), and Silver Hawk (2004). However, his acting chops go beyond a good right hook. White also proved he has a funny side in Tyler Perry’s Why Did I get Married? (2007). He is also appearing in the much-anticipated new installment of the Batman series, The Dark Night, out July 27.

WHY WE LOVE HIM: Michael Jai White is not only an accomplished actor with his martial arts skills; he can also be your knight in shining armor (but let’s hope for shirtless). The Martial artist thing is definitely hot because you know he is centered and focus, and hopefully on you! Unfortunately for us, though, his center and focus is on his wife of three years, Courtney Chatman…argh!
