Bottom line is this:

The whole concept that men should be judged by the content of their wallet and not their character is a ploy to degrade the spiritual unity that should exist between men and women. If that standard (money means everything) were rigidly applied it would mean that no woman of any race should seek a companion of any race other than white, semetic (jewish, though it’s not really a race), or arabic as these are the wealthiest people in the world. Once you look at it from this point of view you will realize the fallacy of your world view.

I agree with some of what the author wrote in this article, but I think the idea is to be aware of red flags. Having said that, I think you have to judge the situation as it happens. For instance, with these tough economic times, a lot of people are getting laid off. If I met a man who was not working, I’d not only ask him what happened, but I would ask him about his overall job history, which can say a lot more about his work ethic and ability to hold down a job and whether he’s career driven. Therefore, I would not exclude a man right away; but if he kept evading the question, was vague or revealed to me that he had spotty work history, I’d run the other way. It’s about what a man can do for himself and if he can provide for his potential partner (whomever that may be).

HOwever, I don’t know why this article has photos of some of these men in it: Jermaine Dupri, Al Reynolds, Bobbie Brown, and quite a few others should not be listed as scrubs. They were successful in their own right before they even met these women. Now K-Fed…that’s a scrub!!
