Tameka Foster is honoring her son Kile Glover’s memory by opening a foundation in his name. After losing Kile in a tragic jet ski accident this summer, she vowed to create an organization in his name.
Tameka made good on that promise this weekend as she launched Kile’s World Foundation this weekend on what would have been Kile’s 12th birthday, with a party celebrating his life and the legacy she hopes to build in his name.
According to Straight From The A, the Kile’s World Foundation will focus on getting more kids involved in the arts through camps and workshops. But Tameka also aims to make sure something like Kile’s accident never happens again. In the days following Kile’s death, Tameka tweeted, “Our goal is to increase water safety- thru implementing laws, policies & education. Kiles passing will not be in vain, we will see to this.”
