Of course, the best tribute would have to come from Michael’s little sister, Janet, who took the stage to perform one last time with her late brother at the 2009 VMAs.

3. Ne-Yo Performs “The Way You Make Me Feel” At “Bad” 25th Anniversary Concert

Another great performer, Ne- Yo, dedicated a whole event to the 25th anniversary of Michael Jackson’s legendary album, “Bad”, in 2012. Durng the event, Ne-Yo surprised fans by hitting the stage to perform MJ’s classic, “Smooth Criminal”’ and “The Way You Make Me Feel”.

5. Michael Jackson Tribute At The 2010 Grammy Awards

At the 2010 Grammy awards, multiple stars dedicated a special tribute performance for the late King of Pop to commemorate his passing the previous year. Celine Dion, Jennifer Hudson, Smokey Robinson, Usher, Carrie Underwood and more took the stage to perform “What About Us”.

6. Justin Timberlake Performs The Jacksons’ “Shake Your Body (Down To The Ground)”

Justin Timberlake is one of the many artists who have expressed their love for Michael Jackson and the large influence that he’s had on his own career. Earlier this year, Justin performed the Jacksons’ “Shake Your Body (Down To The Ground)” at the Hollywood Palladium following the 55th Annual Grammy Awards show.

7. Beyonce Performs The Jackson 5’s “I Wanna Be Where You Are”

Even though she was five months pregnant at the time, Beyonce paid tribute to the King of Pop in 2011 for the “Michael Forever” tribute concert that took place in Wales. After being introduced by Michael Jackson’s children, Prince, Paris and Blanket, Beyonce, decked out in a 70s inspired sequins dress and afro wig, went on to perform the Jackson 5 hit, “I Wanna Be Where You Are”.
