1. $95,000 For Pink & White Roses
With a bulk of the party budget going to flowers, I would assume Jay & Bey had sculptures of Blue Ivy made with them. They should be set for flowers for the rest of Blue's life.
2. $2,000 For Birthday Cake
Cake cake cake! Even though I've never spent $2K on a birthday cake, but that seems like such a small price tag compared to everything else.
3. Jay-Z ft. Blue Ivy "Glory"
4. $80,000 For A Diamond-Encrusted Barbie With white Gold Jewelry
What & why? Is this Barbie going to grow with Blue Ivy--see her off on the first day of school, give her her first kiss, take her to the prom? No? Then that $80K is just because, right? Ok then.
5. $30,000 For Goodie Bags With Jewelry, A Playhouse & Princess Costume
I guess Blue Ivy's friends didn't need to bring her a gift because the goodies bags she and her parents gave out would have easily trumped any gift she would have received.
6. $Who Knows On Concert Tickets For Parents
Parents didn't go home empty handed either, they also received personalized gold pens with Blue Ivy and each guest's name engraved on them.
7. Beyonce "Upgrade U"
Beyonce and Jay-Z recently celebrated the first awesome year of life for their little one, Blue Ivy. The one-year-old’s epic birthday party boasted a $200,000 price tag–not to mention the $1 million nursery at the Barclay’s the happy, rich couple purchased for their bundle of joy. I guess when you’ve pulled in $78 million, a couple hundred thousand isn’t a big deal.
A source close to the Hollywood royal couple says of Blue Ivy’s diamond drenched party, “Nothing’s been too big or expensive for their little princess. They wanted her first birthday to set the tone for the rest of her life. They work hard for their money and the first thing they want to spend it on is their baby girl. It’s hard to imagine how they can top this next year – or what her Sweet Sixteen will be like.”
Check out this gallery of party perks from Blue Ivy’s unbelievably expensive shindig.
