2. P. Diddy

During his chat with Letterman, Diddy dropped a hilarious bomb about the time Michael Jackson surprised at him at his own party. Apparently, he was on a mission to dance with Beyonce!

3. Michelle Obama

FLOTUS stopped by the show last month! And this interview was great because when talking about family life with Barack and their two daughters, she revealed that one of them is referred to as “Grumpy cat.”

Kim and Kourt stopped by Letterman in 2013 and gave ol’ Dave the rundown on the family business and about sister’s Khloe’s “real parents.”

5. Janet Jackson

We’re posting this video for Janet’s dress alone. She evidently felt like slaying late night audiences. Ridiculous! This was 2004 and post-Super Bowl. Janet was able to joke with Dave about it.

6. Oprah Winfrey

After a decade long “rivalry” between the two, Letterman and Winfrey finally made amends in 2005. The fellow talk show icon appeared on his show that year and they’ve been friends again ever since. She was also one of his last guests in the countdown to his final episode this month!

7. Kanye West

West last performance on the Letterman show in 2009. But his 2008 set for “Love Lockdown” was epic.

8. Jay Z and Eminem

Props to Dave for getting two hip-hop heavyweights to perform on his show. In 2010, he got a rare televised performance of the hard Jay Z and Eminem track “Renegade.”

9. Mariah Carey

Dahhhhling. Mariah Carey did the most during her appearance last year on Letterman. She even gabbed about her twins aka “dem babies.” Yes, lambs!

10. Nicki Minaj

Are we gonna have to refer to the era of Nicki’s first album Pink Friday as “pre-Meek Mill”? Well, she was here! And on the Late Show, she performed “Check It Out” with will.i.am

11. President Barack Obama

POTUS though! A favorite of Letterman, the show was sure to get the Prez as one of the last guests on the Late Show this month.

12. Serena Williams

Tennis champ and recent VOGUE mag cover star Williams came through at Letterman rocking a glamorous blonde look. But she was as personable as ever!

13. Kerry Washington

Classy as eva, Washington stopped by to chat about her work with the Obama administration and of course, Scandal!

14. Rihanna

A flaming red-haired Rihanna gave a really decent performance of her single “What’s My Name?” in 2010!

15. Beyonce

No, we didn’t forget about the Queen, #Beyhive (dang!) Here we got a throwback to when Beyonce was promoting her True Star perfume, in the new Pink Panther sequel, Grammy nominated for her B’Day album and lastly, she shared a hilarious story involving her baby sister Solange.
