Wrong just wrong. Thought Alicia had more respect for her self. I’m not knocking them for being together but just how it all went down. The whole messing with the married man thing just don’t sit right with me. But thats just my opinion.

Caramel you are not by yourself. Alicia always talking about a woman’s worth but you can’t have that much worth if you are sleeping with a still married man andgetting pregnant. The divorce paper aren’t even cold and he is trying to get married again. I give it a couple of years, but she has to remember if he can leave his wife and children for you so easily whats to say he won’t do it to you. Karma comes back bad!

She is a great singer, but this mess is just so ghetto…and so opposite of her fake public image…She and Swizz deserve each other…No matter what happened in his marriage, he should have been man enough to make a decision to work on saving it, or end it fairly and with respect…Not decide to cheat! Thats why so damn many std’s are spreading around! Two more rich lowlifes…Why are we even surprised?

Kinda sad. I know you can not control who your heart loves, but you can control your actions. It would have been okay if she was more respectful to his then wife and the fact that his divorce was not final before they made their relationship public. I say shame to the both of them. I do not wish her ill in any way, but trust this will come back to her.

Just like Crystalclearny quoted, she need to write songs about something else, other than singing about empowerment of women and there worth. A real woman would have step aside and let Swizz Beatz handled his business. He could have try to make his marriage work, or simply file for divorce. But that wasn’t the case, she got involved with a married man. Alicia needs to hope and pray that another woman don’t do her the same way she done Mashonda.

i use to like Keys but not anymore, she is a b***h and i know she will be paid back in her own coin. what life does she want Mashonda’s child to live? karma’s law waiting for u. and don’t be upset when it comes.

So what if he paid his ex-wife $334,000. In this day and age that amount of money can be gone in a heartbeat. How is the child if I might ask? What are the circ**stances surrounding the child? Does he get custody or joint custody? My point is that it takes more to raise children then just a dollar figure. If the child is very young, the child support is continuous. His obligations just stop at one check…However, we just don’t know the entire story here other than a monetary figure. Need more of the story for a complete evaluation of the situation. Enough said.

My Bruthas and Sistahs…come on now. They are grown, we do not know the initmate details of Swittz and Mashonda, nor Swittz and Alicia. But what we do know is they are grown. I belive with all my heart (based on what I’ve read) that the $333,000 is going directly to Mashonda so she can keep up with the Joneses. That money is not going toward the son/children she has with Swittz. Swittz is going to be the father to his previous son/children, he will be making court order child support payments as they are all doing. I believe the relationship with Swittz and Alicia is mirroring the same crazy circ**stances as with Dewayne Wade and his soon to be ex-wife. It’s all about the almighty $ and the fact that you were publicly (or in their minds) embarassed, with the world knowing your ex is no longer with you and has gotten with a more classy, sophisticated woman with a career that can hold her own.

I wish no ill on neither of the woman…the only mature advice I can say, “Pull your boots up and move on, be strong, hold your head up and if a man drops a dime, trust that one with pick up it. Do not hold onto negativity because you will not be able to nuture your children the correct way.”

I think it shows the signs of our times when people spend more time speculating about celebrities lives rather then living their own. Everyone is entitled to their opinion but unless you are Swizz, Mashonda, or Alicia your opinion is just that…you cannot make it factual even if you wanted to.

Moving on…

Just like those of you that are so quick to defend hoe keys and swift by stating we don’t know whats going on with their private lives….just as you don’t know that mashonda isn’t going to spend that money on her son. Mashonda doesn’t seem the superficial tip and I’m sure if she was a bad mother swift wouldn’t have hestitated to throw that out there like he’s thrown everything else out there.

Mashonda good for you ma….And keep your head up. ‘Karma’ is a bytch…Keys will know sooner or later. Hell she wrote a song about it.

Look at all these f**king ppl commenting about Alicia and Swizz as though they’ve never done something “uncovential” passing judgment as tho they themselves are G-O-D! Swizz bn separated from Mashonda for a few years..that marriage didn’t suddenly js ended because of his relationship with A.Keys. Ppl fail to realize that yeah, you are in a marriage/relationship but hell, ppl fall in and out of love. For all we know both Swizz and Mashonda were miserable in their marriage but one wanted to keep the lifestyle and prolonged the inevitable.

My own mother was married to my father for about 15 yrs (I was 4) when she met my stepfather, who was also married. They met at a bar and just talked about their problems and the relationship went from simply needing a companion who would listen to finding someone else that wasn’t about that bulls**t or cheating..they did leave their significant others and lasted for 12 years before my stepfather passed from cancer.

My point is, why the hell should one wait til one is free just cuz the husband or wife or boyfriend or girlfriend can be on their own to be with the one you love? My ex-boss has this lady that has been in love with him before he had gotten married and that was freaking 25 yrs ago..is that sane to continue waiting?

I am not the biggest fan of the relationship between Swizz and Alicia. But at the end of the day she did lose mad points with me for not waiting until the man was legally divorced. I keep reading in people’s post that he and Mashanda were separated.
Well separated is not legally divorced! He was still married, like my granny says Baby don’t you open that door ‘for you close the other one! I think that she should have exercised more judgment and not have gotten a baby involved. A baby has never fixed any broken relationship, and made ‘ner a man stay.

ok if he was still living with his ex and lying and saying that he was gettin a divorce then i can understand. how many people have not completely ended one relationship before meeting someone else? she didnt do anything wrong. if they were not together than that’s it. they can’t get married until his divorce was final. and once you are separated and living in separate homes you can do you. they were aT least really getting divorce. you are nobody’s man or woman when u live in separate houses. the question is not why alicia got with swizz while separated. the question is why is alicia with swizz beatz period?.. sorry don’t see the attraction but to each their own.
