All that i will say is its been accepted in our society of blacks that we do what we have to do. I have a child with a woman who i could careless as to how she conducts herself. So in a situation where we know that strippers, porno actresses, etc will have a negative light upon them based on there choice to employ themselves to that type of work. You have to ask yourself at the end of each day. If i say i believe in God or im a christian. Even if we as imperfect human beings don’t have the pure right to imply a judgement upon someone. What you have to ask yourself is “Does the behavior of what i choose to do pleasing to God”? As men we have dominated the society of the human race (not just blacks) to believe that this is a mans world. We were given a leadership position by God to be head of household. Rather we being imperfect, arrogant and ignorant at times. We have stereotyped women to be ho’s, s**ts, w***es etc. When we are no different from the judgement we impose because we entertain and employ this behavior by women who we understand have a stronger emotional postion within themselves that allows us to maniplate them if allowed. Now can we say we are leaders of honesty with that behavior. If an excuse is what you have. First detach yourself from the unclean things that you accept then take time to think and rebuild your new personality and character.

everymansdream9, while I really appreciate your compliments, I would say it’s not about having more men like me. I have just as many faults as the sister dancing in the video. What we need is for our people to be more conscious, more spiritual, more Godly and on the same page. Saying that we are severely damaged is a HUGE understatement, all of us. As many have suggested on this blog, it starts at home or the old African proverb “Each one, teach one.” I mean we have to make it our life mission at this point to re-teach our children Godly values so that women don’t act like this and so that men don’t want our women to act like this. The powers that be have put our beautiful black Goddesses on pedestals as sex objects and we as black men continue to perpetuate this image and our sisters continue to put themselves in this image. We are at a cross roads in our communities. It’s ironically twisted and perverted that we would say how proud and confident we are as a race that we have a black family in the white house, then continue to display the type of behavior in this video and in life, not just this sista but all of us, men and women. Their is a revolution that’s going on in our community and society and it’s a spiritual one because morality, consciousness, spirituality and Godliness is just not in us anymore.

All the single women or single mothers on the comment board that said this type of behavior is ok you might not need to wonder why you are single. It does not matter if you date a high profile person or not you have to have some since of pride. The media did not place her on that stage, her lack of good judgement did. Get mad if you want to but yes when you have a child (but hopefully before) you should hold your self to a higher standard. If you want to still club, don’t have a child. If you want to bring random guys home, don’t have a child. I am for the new future of our people and there alot getting on the same wagon. If there is something I am uncertain of HE’S left plenty of examples i.e. Mary McCloud Bethune, Marion Anderson, Billie Holiday Congresswoman Maxine Waters, Michelle Obama.
See, realization has to occur and you have to know that you know that you know EVEN if the contrary seems to be prevailing. We don’t have to accept the status quo.
