Love the pic, I’ll admit as a big girl I don’t have high cholesterol nor high blood pressure as most may assume, but I love to exercise at least 300-400 minutes a week and is giving my body more nutrients it needs, no matter what size one is, trying to live a healthier lifestyle is the key essential to living a longer and healthier life. :)

It’s what a person’s preference is. I for one do not find big, fat, or obese women good looking, or sexy. What I see is irresponsible behavior. I see laziness, and the lack of will power. I my self is of average height and weight and definitely stay active. In some cases, I understand some people can not help it, but come on, for the 98% that can put down that burger, stop the second helping, and most importantly, EXERCISE!!!!!!! Now being fat does not mean you are ugly. You can be big and cute. Ending, for the narrow minded, I do not dig anorexic chicks either. You know what kills me? Men can walk around looking like they swallowed an elephant and have the nerve to say they’re athletically built/average and no one really says anything about them. Big women on the other hand get raked across the coals even if they’re just 20lbs overweight. Why is there a double standard? My guess is that because women are less likely to be as judgmental as men. As long as the world and what’s beautiful is determined by men, big bellied men will be described as “average build” and big women will be undesirable and obese.

Well good for them. I don’t get the two women thing , but maybe they are going for the sisterhood of plus sized women concept. Anyway the nudity is tastefully done(no pun intended) so its more artistic than vulgar. Beauty comes in all shapes and sizes so its excellent that they are promoting this image, and not just the very thin waif like image.

This is a beautiful picture, beauty and art come in all forms. I refuse to let the “ideal” size 6/8 put me in a place I dont want to be. I believe I am beautiful as I am. Do I need to loose weight, yes and it will probably make more men attracted to me. I refuse to loose weight to get a man or to try and be that size 6 that everyone loves so much….a size 6 yet have large breasts and a big round bottom. Do men even realize that that would be physically impossible to achieve naturally? Not to mention there are quite a few people who do not have the body type to be that small, myself included. I could not be any smaller than a size 12/14 (which is still technically plus size to some people) without looking weird…or like Star Jones (no offense to her but she got too small and looks like she starved herself to that size). Now instead of people trying to have a big discussion about weight under this topic and making rude comments, the real discussion should be about eatting disorders. Do you know anyone with one? Have u had one yourself? Do you think this picture is a step in the right direction for women of all shapes and sizes? What do you think will be? What do you think you as a person could do differently to help change the way women see themselves so they don’t become morbidly obese or suffer from malnutrition? Is there anyway you can change your reation to someone over weight or under weight, to make them feel better about themselves? In my experience, the more people that made fun of me, the more people that called me names, made me want to sit in the house with chocolate bars and a peanut butter jar all day, the last thing on my mind would be to join a gym where more people would be seeing me and making jokes while I try to make myself healthier of course, but in my mind it would be me trying to make myself more accepting to them so I would fit in to their standards more. Those small snickers as you walk by, those snide comments, the whispers, the pointing, and the staring….oh I know what they are about (as all other obese people know). What if every over weight female was feeling like that? What do you feel, now that you know you are part of the problem and not the solution? I am very lucky to have met my boyfriend when I did. I was on a path to self distrution. He thinks I am the most beautiful girl in the world. We both work out together. He wants the both of us to be healthy and to live for a long time, even my very close friends are pitching in. You should realize that for ever obese person wanting to change, that there is an even greater need for a support system to help them because we have become so insecure so afraid that we dont want to try and fail, or even have someone watch us try and fail. Also, just because someone is anorexic doesn’t mean that they can get better just by eating. If it was that simple don’t you think they would have done that? By not eating for so long, it messes with your digestive system and basically they would need to start with liquids until everything begins working properly again. It takes time to become anorexic or obese, and it will need time to go away. Yes there are going to be some people beyond help, but if you just smiled or said hello how are you today to someone obese or anorexic….or just anyone, it would probably make their day that much brighter. So I think today, or whenver you read this comment…if you read it at all…go out into the world, and smile at a stranger. That obese woman on the bus that everyone just stares at, make small talk with her just to pass the time, smile at the cashier at ur grocery store, see a person getting teased or bullied or called names based on their stature, stick up for them a little, tell the other person to bug off or go do something productive. Make a new friend with someone you never thought you would talk to. You may have more in common with them than you realized. Be a good person, not negative. You might find that your postive attitude made your day better as well.
