UPDATE: Chris Brown & Usher Not Touring Together

Yesterday, Usher’s camp rushed to put an end to the rumor that he and Chris Brown we’re touring together.

“There are no plans at this time for Usher and Chris Brown to tour together,” the singer’s reps said in a statement.

Brown’s reps also chimed in with the statement:

“There is no confirmed Chris Brown and Usher tour at this time.”

The false rumor was sparked by music producer Bryan-Michael Cox, who (on camera) disclosed the information as if it was exclusive. Watch the clip here: Usher & Chris Brown To Tour Together!

He later tweeted:

I was drunk. Lol. Talking crazy. I don’t know for a fact that THAT tour is happening. But it would be dope tho. Lol.

    Oh Brian Michael Cox stop lying cuz we ALL saw you in that YT vid and you said (not sounding drunk at all) a list of what you and your team was doing down in ATL to prove to whoever that you guys are doing things. Among that list, you clearly stated that Usher and Chris Brown were going on tour, but you guys already knew that, and then Jermain Dupre said that (we) didn’t know that and you said, well, that’s some exclusive s**t so based on that lil back and forth, you were making it seem as though, yes, that is an actual tour in the works.

    I told a friend this who is close to Chris’ aunt and within a few hours, Chris had tweeted to fans, asking them to RT if they thought it was a good idea and included #CBUsherTour which fans immediately started to tweet where it actually got on the trending topic. Usher on the other hand had took the safe route and tweeted who ppl would like to see him on tour with, leaving that open to anyone..but than Rihanna fans which on twitter are called “rihtards” decided to get in the mix for some odd reason and pointed out to Breezy stans that Usher’s fans didn’t like the idea and used that shaded title against Chris and a “war” broke out on twitter.

    As a result, Usher is the one that backed out cuz he was afraid of the fans not buying tickets even though, anyone with a brain and a real fan wouldn’t care who you toured with cuz they were coming to see you but *kanye shrug* that’s his loss. Just like his dumbass decided not to do that video with Ciara (which duh, ya both dancers), he is missing out on another opportunity cuz Chris still has a very young fan base.
