Aaliyah was not doing world tours doing interviews around the globe or invited to important functions or wasn’t used to endorse anything. Only the u.s loved her but the whole world and space loves Beyonce. Aaliyah can’t sing, dances funny, makes boring music, had low creativity, wasn’t very empowering and influential. I loved aaliyah! BUTTTT Beyonce and Aaliyah are just two completely different artists with different styles. Different classes in opinion, so it’s an unfair comparison. I disagree. Aaliyah had plenty of hit singles but her vocal abilities were nowhere near Bey’s. Despite her popularity, even moreso after her untimely death, her vocals was very average. Granted she had a nice tone to her voice, in reality there are plenty of people on every corner of every block, without record deals, that can put her vocals to shame and this is coming from someone who also idolized the late great.

Aaliyah DIED So Beyonce Can Live!

I THINK AALIYAH WOULD HAVE WENT FAR BEYOND BEYONCE. AALIYAH HAD A WAY BETTER SINGING VOICE & COULD REALLY DANCE. SHE WAS BEAUTIFUL. AN AT THE HEIGHT OF HER CAREER WHEN SHE PASSED.

Hmm…let’s be honest here. Let me preface by saying that I really LOVED Aaliyah. I was totally convinced that I was going to meet her, have her fall in love with me, and marry her…lol. To be honest though, I don’t think that she had quite as much cross-over appeal as Beyonce does. I also don’t think that she could quite keep up with B in the singing department…not saying that B has the worlds best voice. Aaliyah didn’t inspire new words, create dancing crazes, or have as much musical success. Despite all of her talents and beauty, Aaliyah was far more the down-to-Earth, around-the-way, cool chic that more people could relate to and see as normal. I’m no Beyonce fanboy, but I do give credit where credit is due. Beyonce is a force that can’t be ignored, held down, or surpassed at the moment….and this is coming from someone who hated her when Destiny’s Child first came out. It broke my heart when the woman who I thought was going to be my future wifey died, and I wish that she was still here, but I think that B would still be on top…and that would have been fine with me because I would have still loved Aaliyah and our children anyway…lol.
