Beyonce Settles Lawsuit With Neighbor She Annoyed

Beyonce Knowles just ended a legal war with a guy who claimed the singer “invaded his neighborhood” for a video shoot.

TMZ spoke with Philip Markowitz, who sued Beyonce and her production crew back in May for allegedly wreaking havoc in his neighborhood, and he claims he just received a 5-figure settlement to drop the case.

As previously reported, the trouble began when Beyonce used a home in the Hollywood Hills to shoot a music video for the song “Why Don’t You Love Me” and the crew allegedly trespassed onto Markowitz’s driveway.

Markowitz said,

“I’m happy with the settlement, but this lawsuit shouldn’t have happened in the first place.”

“They set up on my property without asking and [the settlement] should send a notice to other production companies that they need to respect the rights of property owners.”

    I for once agree with the comments. I would be happy if she used my driveway but at the same time I would appreciate an approval by me first if they can use it.

    Also, I wonder if he had won the lawsuit how much would he have won? Prob more than 5 figures so he didn’t make a good decision.

    The point here is not that the man was greedy or anything else. The point is that the production crew TRESPASSED on his property…PERIOD!
    Come on people it is not always about someone wanting something for nothing. Who knows what this crew did to his lawn or to his property. I am sorry but I live in Texas and I am originally from Florida…you trespass you get shot…nothing more nothing less…

    I don’t think money have anything to do with suing just to get sum money in yo pockets… They should have asked to be on his property rather then jus setting up there equipment on his property. He had every right to sue them i would.. True to the matter is you have to ask and get permission to do things you can’t jus go around do whatever you want to. I don’t care who you is and how much money you got in your pockets..

    That is good for her ass! Her production crew should have asked the man for his permission to set up in his driveway. So many keep sayin that the man did it for money but HELLO they were filming in a wealthy neighborhood in the Hollywood Hills! He didn’t need her money! He was making a point!
