For those who keep yapping about her weight: this article is about Gabourey’s comments to Gerard Butler, not about her size. I realize that people digress and topics morph into sub-topics, but why keep talking about how big she is, especially in such a disrespectful way?? First of all, as I mentioned before, she realizes that she’s big. Secondly, she is living out her dream and making more money than most of the people on this message board. Thirdly, have some of you ever considered that you’re not moving great merchandise either??

Not only that, have you all ever considered your own visibility? Some of you may be looking for jobs or looking for better opportunities. Here you are making all sorts of judgements about people’s size, color, sexuality…and ya’ll niggaz don’t even realize that some people who visit sites like these MAY be hiring managers or recruiters–hell, they may already be YOUR manager and if that person is overweight or possesses a characteristic that you have been attacking, how do you think you’ll rate with them? Just something to consider.
