H-Wood loves these kind of stories. But they giving her some lime light, she should bask in it, to show her versatility as an actress. We could use her strength playing a Fannie Lou Hamer, these are the stories that need to be told.

The razorback has a LOT of similarities with Precious. I didn’t see the movie and will never see the movie, but I can see everything about that girl is a phoney. I watched her interview with Jaye Leno, and felt that her entire persona she presented to the world was a farce. I went to high school with a boy like her that weighed about 350lbs. He was my best friend. He too presented an exterior of the jolly fat person, even when kids teased him. He told me that when he is alone in his room he cries. He committed suicide at about 24 years of age.

This girl is hurt. She is the child of a mother who sings in the subway and an absentee father. I have never saw a person in the subway who didn’t have mental problems. Her mental problems are manifested in her weight problem. She doesn’t have what it takes to survive hollywood. Maybe her mother will sue Oprah for setting her up for disaster.

IamDyeverse, I would be ‘that person’ who made the ‘oacar nominated’ comment. I havent been nominated for any oscars, but then again I havent tried to be. AND If I were to go for that line of work I wouldnt be jumping up and down happy to be nominated as the obese, uneducated, depressed, abused, diseased black teenager in the movie. And stop it with the Blind Side crap. That movie was a glorified Lifetime film. Sandra and her fake southern accent weren’t half as good and powerful as Gabby’s performance in Precious.

I am so tired seeing this Jabba the Hutt wilderbeast!!! Her portrayal in Precious was not great at all. People feel the need to defend this animal because she is obese and feel that being politically correct is the best way to be — When I heard what Howard Stern had to say about her, I had to agree with him totally!!!

Gabby definitely blows up the stereotypic role that she played and I must say I am proud of that fact. Now people can see that there is more than one side to some of us black folks. WE can get kind of ghetto and yet have that professional edge as well. Gabby is the total opposite of precious…..good job girl, stay cool and beautiful inside and on the outside…she is a nice looking young lady.
