i love this post. finally something positive. She dont need to apologize to no one f**k that. Her son is going to really appreciate that and when he gets older he is probably gonna have to force her to let him handle his own business and for her to go out and have fun. I dont like her short cut idk something about it is off on her. Her son is so adorable and i know alot of women were going back to that pic with her ex husband lol

I love her originality in her style, and stage act. Her voice is good too. But I’m glad she is putting her child first.

That’s great that Solange knows that being a mom comes first, but that is exactly why Bey is not in a rush to have children.

Ok that’s great! But my only thing is why did they and her both have to advertise that she is being a good mother? I mean Solange isn’t an A or B celeb well hell a C for that matter so her missing out on a concert wouldn‘t be a drastic measure. Hell I just learned her name like a year ago I use to refer to her as Beyonce’s sister. That being said, a good mother isn’t something you have to broadcast to the media that you are indeed one. And honestly If she didn’t want the “attention” for doing so then she would have keep it as “personal obligations”, instead of motherly duties. I’m just saying why do people have to have exposure for every little thing they do such as; “the right thing to do”?

Um, I guess she’s being a good mother. However, if she had already known about his schedule, why didn ‘t she get someone to help out with the kid? Being there for your kids is important, but it’s also important to show them that you are a person of your word and are there for others who also rely on you.

I personally think Solange should model professionally. She is a beautiful girl with a good head on her shoulders, and exhibits good professional management skills.

Schools have changed the dynamics of parental involvement and I think that is a good thing.
Education+parental involvement=Open doors. Open minds. Open hearts. Better educated students.

I give her a thumbs up. Some things are more important, on and off schedule.

why can’t her mother or her ex’s mother take care of her son until her committment is over with the concerts

I’m glad that she is indeed putting her son first. I understand, I have two boys and everything in my life revolves around them. I have to agree with the couple of people that asked did she not know her sons school schedule before she agreed to the concert. School calendars go out in August. She should have just not signed on for the concert. It does kind of make it look like a publicity stunt. Like I said before people attack, I’m just asking and have nothing against her. Either way, I’m glad her choice is her son.

It’s hard to believe that she and Beyonce are sisters because they have such different styles. I admire them both. Solange just seems so more Avante-Guarde and seems to incorporate a lot more British pop than her sister. It’s good that Solange found her niche so early on and is such a force. Youngest siblings rule!

Man, some people sound real slow! How are you going to get mad at her because she didn’t put her child on someone else. That’s what your supposed to do as a parent is handle your business because when there is no one else there the “Only” person that is going to have her back is herself. She is doing her thing, and this story would probably have a totally different turn out if she was neglecting her child.
