Well in some way shape or form Kanye is getting what he deserves which is karma. I understand what he did was wrong even if he had done it to someone other than Taylor Swift. My issue with the situation is when the punishment continues to carry on and on. He has paid for his decision to interrupt Taylor at the VMAs so move on. While the Grammys where punishing Kanye they where also punishing other artists who worked hard and deserved the album of the year award before Taylor Swift. He created great music and a great album aside from everything else he has done. Anybody that pays ATTENTION to the music game (not just Hip Hop/R&B) KNOWS that Taylor Swift was a BIGGER STAR and doing BIG things BEFORE Kanye upstaged her at the award show and just continued to do that.Instead of kissing up to Beyonce (and Jay-Z) ‘Ye
should’ve been trying to put some work in on his next album. 808 was mediocre at best.

I like Beyonce,am one of Jay-Z’s biggest fans but I also realize that they aren’t the be-all,end-all when it comes to music! There are other genres of music with fans who support them just as much.
What I fail to understand is that if Black artists feel that the White establishment is messing them over,why don’t they support their OWN award shows? Every Black artist with a single out makes it to the MTV/AMA/Grammy Awards but can’t seem to find the time for the Soul Train or BET Awards where their OWN would love to see them…Go figure…

I can’t believe some of us are STILL resorting to blaming ‘The White Man’ when we fvck up on our own. ‘Ye’s been having that spoiled child attitude for a minute…that shiit’s just starting to catch up with him. A few years ago on the MTV Europe Awards he ran onstage upset that his video didn’t win the top award and it cost him a million dollars (Check Youtube).

Get off kanye’s back if it wasn’t from him going up their she wouldn’t get the recognition she has been so she actually profit from it. I never knew who she was in the first place until after the fact. I understood what kanye was saying when he got on stage but he went about it the wrong way and plus the comment was actually nicer than what he really wanted to say. I understand Kanye its a white christmas everyday and the seem to let you know in a messed up way without words and no one with good common sense gets it.

I don’t understand how everyone is missing the concept of an AWARD show. Awards aren’t given to EVERYONE or unknowns. So the fact that she was nominated means nothing. Apparantly she was big SOMEWHERE for the top record label execs, producers, and fellow artists, to recommend that you be nominated. But somehow, she just walked in off the street and was selected to be part of the Best Female Artist category.

Gawd what happened to black thought? Black common sense?
