FROM THEYBF: The rumors of Usher’s mom Jonetta Patton relieving herself from her “management” duties back in February are not only true, but there’s more to the story.
It has been reported that Usher’s new fiance’ Grace Miguel has completely taken the reigns over his career. (Isn’t that what Tameka did? We all know how well that turned out!)
Grace has fully stepped in as Usher’s manager. And she’s also been directing him on who else to hire on his team. Interestingly, Jonetta Patton quit this time. She wasn’t fired like she was when Tameka was in the picture.
Word has it Grace and Patton do not get along, so Jonetta has been steering clear of her son’s career these days. Usher explained that he would be “managing himself with the help of Grace” when the news dropped that Jonetta quit. But it seems Grace has been controlling more than a little bit we hear. Maybe she knows what she’s doing. After all, Usher garnered some pretty nice opening sales of Raymond VS. Raymond.
