FROM BOSSIP: Fantasia’s camp has responded to reports the singer was assaulted with a chair following a performance in South Carolina.

Fantasia’s spokesperson released the following statement yesterday afternoon:

Reports of Fantasia being assaulted with a chair are inaccurate on several accounts. The location of Kush Lounge is in North Charleston, South Carolina, not North Carolina. Fantasia was indeed contracted to make an appearance at the night club and not only honored that commitment, but also performed. The altercation took place between Fantasia’s bodyguard and the club owner (not the promoter) who was inebriated and overly-aggressive in his efforts to meet Fantasia. Fantasia was escorted out the club and neither assaulted nor injured during this dispute.

“Fantasia Gets Hit With Chair Thrown By Club Promoter”

FROM BOSSIP: Fantasia was on the party scene at popular North Carolina club Kush Lounge. Apparently things got ugly when Fantasia and the club promoter didn’t see eye to eye on something.

Fantasia was contracted to make an appearance at the club and she did so. An onlooker tells BOSSIP that Fantasia hit the VIP scene and was cooling out until the promoter asked her why she wasn’t performing, Fantasia replied stating she didn’t get paid to perform but only to make an appearance.

The promoter didn’t like her answer and threw a chair at Fantasia. After which security fled to the scene and tried to break it up. Fantasia was rushed out and the club promoter was escorted elsewhere. No one was arrested.
