Beyonce doesn’t have anything to do with it, unless she specifically requested this bikini but often times the clothes/costumes are provided by the producer and it’s staff (costume designer), so whoever picked out the fit and handed it to her is soley responsible.

It isn’t about hating or money. It’s about being recognized for your work. Beyonce’s stuff seems to always make it to the news, but she is just one of many big artists that sees something from someone less known or less famous and thinks they can get away with using it. It has come back to bite her more than once. If you want to use something that someone else came up with, just ask. That designer would have let her use it for the sake of getting her name out there. Beyonce is just a conduit (tool) for her record label. She can’t be treated as an independent artist because, sadly, she isn’t. It’s the people who tell her what to wear and what to do who should be sued.

@ moniQTee…I feel as though “HER VERSION” does look better for her body type, now you can’t front and say that the original piece would of look nice on her and fit her personally. The Original piece was inspired by Picasso who was a successful famous world wide painter who capture the world around him in abstract paintings, sculptures, and much more. So I’m not knocking the Original piece because it’s one of a kind, but certain s**t doesn’t looks right on certain people and instead of taking his idea and making it her “own” she should atleast met up with him and gave him some ideas as to how she would like it to fit and look on her. Hell If Rachel Zoe can alter Chanel by calling up the designer and sending over a sketch as to what she might want it to look like then so can Beyonce’. I agree Sony and Bey has some explaining to do, personally I llike the original better (no hater) we are in an era where everybody is inspired by something if your going to go “copy cat” you have to change it up a bit to making stand apart form the original…so situations like are avoided completely. Maybe she should’ve added some color to it or a few different designs which would’ve change this whole thing around.
