Her voice is gone. She really messed herself up. Now she wants to get self-righteous about other artists. Lady G and Rihanna are just reflecting what youth want to see today. I love that today’s artists are getting dressed up imaginatively again like back in the 70s like Elton John, Parliament-Funkadelic, Kiss, EWF, etc. I just wish more of them could sing better but people don’t want to pay just to see someone sing onstage anymore. They want to be entertained. WH’s last performances were horrible so she could probably use some costumes and stage props.

Just like she did when she was trying to convince the world she was’nt a drug addict huh! She placed blame on others around her but never saw the man in the mirror.

Whitney Houston is right. Lady Gaga can’t sing. She wears these funky costumes and she’s white. Enough said. Whitney Houston is a living legend. The Bodyguard soundtrack is still the most selling soundtrack in history and is STILL SELLING. Whitney Houston, Madonna, Michael Jackson, they are legends. You can’t deny her. Whitney Houston is the greatest interpreter of song in the History of Music, no doubt. No singer has topped her interpretation of the Star Spangled Banner. People need to stop hating on Whitney, but I am sure Whitney pays no attention to her haters.

These young “artists” (if you want to call them artists) Lady GaGa, Rihanna, Brittany, Christiana etc… are nothing more than cookie cutter Madonna wannabees at the hands of the record companies LMAO. It is so played out it is not even funny. The record company doesn’t know how to market young females without making them into cookie cutter versions of Madonna. It’s laughable and sad at the same time. At least Madonna did her own thing on her own terms. What ever happened to individualism? That Madonna was. I am so happy there are a few artists like India Arie….who are intelligent enough to be who they are. They may not be huge in comparison by record sales, but they are not compromising who they are either. I am willing to bet the farm little Miley Cyrus will fall into the same trap once she is around 21.

I’m just glad they were finally able to put up a Whitney photo album WITHOUT any of her busted, crack shots. Thank you all for that!!!

There’s always been music artists who express themselves outwardly as well as through their vocal talents. Whitney is part of the old guard but even in her time, artists like Patti LaBelle were still wearing outlandish hair pieces and crazy sequined-gowns and space-age jumpsuits, so it’s nothing new. Whitney’s never done that but artists who do are part of a tradition that goes back decades. Doesn’t make them better or worse. It’s just part of their image.
