Although I do commend Fantasia for her actions, she has to understand that most people who hurt you will never come around to apologize. She cannot let her father dictate her life and you can not argue with an irrational and selfish person. The world owes you nothing, not even a little apology. To remedy her situation, I suggest you take that anger, frustration, what have you and write. I am sure that it will take her music to the next level because the energy, the feelings are raw. How can someone be wrong for supporting their family? She came up with nothing and when she was able to make everyone’s life better, she did so. It’s not her fault if someome takes advantage of that. If you watch the show, you will see that family is extremely close and when things aren’t right with each other,they suffer. As far as her father goes, all she needs to do is respect his role as her father, even if it’s just the role of DNA donor, but she doesn’t have to love or like him. I won’t say much about the situation because being a singer musician and are sometimes around them. But reading the different post, I will say this. Both are wrong and 2 wrongs don’t make a right. But parents are suppose to be respected by their kids, and the same likewise. I am quite sure that it’s more to it than what we are hearing about the situation, so we don’t really know the whole story about it.
But I do know that music will make a musician/singer do things that shouldn’t be done because of money and sometimes the way people try to treat you as far as your money, even when it comes to church folks. People talk and even gives you the big head, which is not good.
But to end this, it will take the both of them to be really good people to be able to come together. Why? Because Dad should have not sued his daughter, and in the same token, I wouldn’t put a book out with out first letting the family members know what I am putting in it to advoid this kind fo things. What I am saying is that, unless they are really speical people and forgive, it’ will be had for theis relation to mend back together, because even if he or she says I’m sorry, the problem will still be there because the book will still be out in the stores.

Oh one more thing, I here a lot about Children don’t owe parents a thing when they get grown, that may be true. But I will tell this little story and end it up. I am 47 years old, I married when I was 17, I marreid and told my wife that she would not have to hit a lick at a snake as far as working. This is 30 years later and she still hasn’t, my kids (6 of them) ranges from age 32 down to 17, In 2007, I had 2 heart attacks, and 12/10/2009 I had an implant of a pacemaker/defibulator. The doctors took me out of work period on the last day of the year. I am now waiting for disability with can take up to 2 years. Well right now between my gown kids they are paying a lot of my bills except for what my playing money can cover. I asked my kids the other day why they chose to do that.
The answer that I got was surprising and I was amazed that they even thought about it. They told me that the reason why they do it is because I was man enough work and support everyone by myself for many years, and 90% of the time I worked 2 and 3 jobs, when they got liscense I supplied them with their first car, I sent them through college. So they said that the least they can do is help me until whenever my disability comes through. I said that to say this. Fame can get you a big head, and families are not as close as they use to be. I didn’t expect for this much help with the kids, but I did feel like without telling them that they could at least help in some kind of way. Every kid should look back on what their parents did for them while they was growing up. No they didn’t ask to be here, but there are many kids that is being abused while growning up, and if you have caring parents, then that counts for a l ot.

I don’t think the point is about whether he sued her or the publishing company because it appears that there have been issues with her father before “Idol” and this was the straw that broke the camel’s back. This is really sad, it is good that she had this discussion with her father and seems to be resigned to walking away from him and other people in her life who cause her problems/drama. Many of us know what it is like to be around people who are leeches, draining us dry of time, energy, money…whatever they can get from us.

That’s when people have to know that they need to face the truth or they would never be free of the negative cycles they got themselves into. Life is a learning experience and men/women supposes to learn from mistakes and not keep repeating them constantly.

I don’t have Cable. I haven’t seen the show. I don’t know all what have happend. But just to see a clip like this only to bring back some of the memories that I myself have with my father. Only that fantasia have and only been reaching out to her father. And I myself have the same situation with my… And Idiot he is. And I have done nonthing to him but to give him my Unconditional love as a daught and still, Its said that he is the way that he is. I too have been raped. But he doesn’t know it. I don’t know the Circ**stances of her relationship with her father is and why him and her dont get along. But in that case… Seem like She didn’t have a father that was not even there for her.

And that is how mine’s was. And still Until this day… I don’t have no kind a connection with my father… When I first seen him is back when I was about. I don’t know twenty five. When I have asked for a Cellphone… And yes he paid the bills for me. But he never bothered to call me just to see how i was doing. I alway’s found myself calling him.. When that cellphone got distroyed. I got another one. Gave him the New number still the same thing. The situation with the was the same until have I got sick and tiered of the whole Situation….

I was done.. And I have told my mother of the matter. That I didn’t want to deal with him anymore. And she still Insist that I should Call him… What is up with me doing all the calling. This is the man that I don’t really consider to be my father because he was never there for me. I am a grown women now… And I do for myself. I don’t need his help I just thank GOD that he has been there for me. That is all that I need Is the Lord Jesus Christ and Not someone that don’t give a

Jack ass About me.. What hurting is me listening on to the conversations of this video and fantasia want to talk to her father not to argue.. Or get confrontational… And that is sad..
