Somebody better make sure Mary’s not drinking’using again. This is the second time in less than a month she has been accused of going off (on her husband in December). It is very disappointing considering she has come so far.

MJB May have been right Judah but who will everybody look at 1st? Mary of course and mainly because of her past tribulations.

Mary is under a lot of pressure and she just let off some steam. It was very inappropriate but she is human. I am sure she is going to apologize to her band. Her band is some of the best musicians in the industry and nobody is perfect. May needs to take some time off and chill for a few months

Speaking of the Grammys, MJB sounded like straight-up doo-doo next to that classical singer, Andrea Bocelli. She can’t sing anyway, but her lack of vocal skills was AMPLIFIED next to a REAL singer. The man was hitting his notes effortlessly while MJB was struggling to sing with him and even keep up with him.

She actually sucked the lifeforce out of that beautiful song. I love the first part of the song, before that overrated, crackhead queen of drama came in and fucced-up the rest of it (LOL). She was trying to be Aretha, but her attempt was an EPIC FAIL!

Watch it again and you’ll see what I mean.

Although I am not a fan of MJB…In my opinion she can not sing, but as a professional musician I can tell you that she had every right to do what she did. If the musicians can not get their act together to back up the lead singer correctly, it is up to the Musical Director or the singer to correct her musicians whether it is live on stage or not. If these musicians where soooo professional they would not have to be chastised in the first place. They would have got it right the first time out.

Musicians make mistakes too though. Tact does still work today and is still quite effective.
On top of the fact seriously, Mary needs some more vocal coaching.
It’s just NOT there.
Her musicians on stage and in the studio in my honest opinion are making her sound better than she actually does.

That stuff gets around, and for sme musicians, the money ain’t worth the humiliation, and most of the bidwigs ain’t gonna hav no diva attitudesin their orgaizations. I personally don’t think what she did was wrong. I’ve been singing background,leading, and in the choir and if something isn’t right that you know of you have to correct them. She could of been less crass about it but she did what she did. I’ve had seen my mother who was a choir director and pianist in the church stop the choir and start all over in the middle of the song,during services. It was embarrassing but we got it straight afterwards. Also I think from where she came and how she sounds now you can tell she does get vocal lessons and sounds ten times better.

I too used to work in the business so you are right on target. Been around lots of musicians and studios they really do work hard through rehearsals for hours. Today artists should be lucky when they mess up or cannot sing a lick because that’s where musicians saved them. People think MJB acts like this all the time but I’m wondering if she is burned out or have some private matter bothering her so bad she can barely focus.
