I do not think that Pep’s show promotes promiscuity. Lets examine the show. Here you have women who are 1) Successful, 2) who believe in sisterhood, and 3) who believe in the fact that they do not have to settle for just anyone, but for the BEST. Now, maybe I am a little bias because I am a Pepa fan…and will be until the day I die, but lets look at Pep. She has publicly stated that she has abstained from sex for 5 years because she has not found what she desires in a mate. Why does that have to promote promiscuity…why can’t it promote abstaining and really getting to know an individual before you take it there. I think it is a good thing, especially when Pep and any of the ladies could have anyone they want. I think the show promotes healthy African American Sisterhood. It is real and they cover real issues………LOVE, BELONGING, COMPANIONSHIP, TRUST, and ultimately HAPPINESS.

I agree with you, ANUMEE, I love this show. I am so glad that Pep found her mr. right. Can’t wait for season two.

I only caught a couple of episodes, but it was funny, SITC – Black Girl style, I liked the show. Hope Pep has learned what she needs in a relationship, cause I certainly understand why so many women are single, and its not they can’t get a man, but they dont’ want anything. And its more anythings out here than quality. I’m not so into the inter-racial stuff, we still need a black nation that needs to be whole, but whatever floats ur boat.

That show was hilarious. I only watched it a couple times. Pep and Tom are a hella odd couple for real. lol!!! I wonder what she sees in that guy????
