I commend Fantasia coming out and telling this story, it somewhat reminds me of myself and what I do for others, and when you feel they will do the same for you, they won’t. we always have negative things to say about it other. As black women it is time to stand up for our sisters and not put them down in any form or fashion. When our children start to see this in us they too will do as we do and live a life that i a lot less critical of each other! Fantasia deserves a second shot at a great career. This girl sang the heck out of her new single “Angels” on Oprah. I love her! She is 25 and is going to make some more mistakes just like we all have. I’m going to watch her continue to grow and support her along the way.

I personally think that If fantasia surrounds herself with positive people and start looking out for her and her daughter than she can go a long way. To come from a welfare check to a recording contract is a huge huge step.. I think she is learning and is now understanding how she needs to make better choices in her life..
