as a cosmotologist (who knows the science behind hair)… one of two things has happened: (1) kelly has had too many glued-in lace fronts, which have corroded her hair follicle causing the hair not to grow in the areas where the glue has been applied or (2) a braided sew-in has consistently been braided to tight and too close to the natural hairline, causing severe follicle breakage which leads to the hair follicle not growing strong hair follicles therefore leading to baldness in said affected areas.

Shame what she has done to her head because she is a beautiful girl. She’s going to be looking like Stevie Wonder with a hairline in the middle of her head if she keeps this up.

The glue for the lace front break off your hair, they apply the glue around your hair line. I seen alot of females hair break off around the hair line because of the glue. I also have to agree with others about the quality of lace front wigs Kelly is using. She is using a cheaper grade of wigs, she need a professional stylist and stop using her Keisha from the hood. A professional stylist wouldn’t send her off because their job and reputation is important to them. That’s how professionals get their work from styling celebrities and clients wouldn’t hire them if they do crappy workmanship.

If a woman doesn’t have a medical condition like alopecia or female pattern thinness, I don’t think she should wear a weave. This is especially true if she doesn’t work in the entertainment industry in which one frequently changes their “look” to keep in line with the trends. I think that women should be proud of the natural hair that they are given. I had gone through some hair loss for a brief period several years ago. Fortunately, my hair grew back, but the experience makes me want to tell women who put weave, wigs, hair color and other chemicals in their hair to STOP! Be thankful for what you have. There are many other ways to get naturally beautifuly, silky hair without all the crap that is out there!

Lmao @ some of these comments. Well in case some of you are a little “late” with the “Lace Wig” trend. I will be more than happy to “inform” you. Most of “Hollywood” wears them and they have been main stream for about 2-3 years now, with the public(at least in my area). Unfortunately Kelly is suffering from removing her lace wig’s without proper care(that‘s the only thing I can think of with her massive edge‘s being lost). Usually this happens when a nonprofessional removes them(it will cause your edges to disappear immediately). However I myself have been trained to attach and detach lace wigs. And it’s really simply with removing the lace wigs. Shall we? 1. All you have to do is spend anywhere between $1.20-$2.00 on some 91% bottle of Isopropyl alcohol(this will remove it with no problem). 2. You will take a washcloth and apply a significant amount of the Isopropyl alcohol onto the washcloth. 3. You will then apply the drenched washcloth around the edge’s of the lace wig and you will then discover that the glue is dissolving. 4. Once the lace wig have been removed you will then drench your edge’s with the alcohol allowing the glue to become extremely soft. 5. Once the glue has become soft you then will take a comb(small w/thin teeth that is) and comb out the soften glue. 6. You will then wash and shampoo your hair as normal. And there you have it! This process will allow you to continue the “Lace Wig” trend and continue to keep your edges! Now lady’s and some gentlemen that was your “Lace Wig” removal 411 for today. And you have been officially informed!
